Well way to go kotaku! And good, the series needs a break. Come back with something special next year
Egypt, so a black dude or women ?
Hope they change the name from Assassin's Creed Empires to Assassin's Creed V. Show me you're serious Ubi.
And after that a new AC in the best setting known to man.
Ancient Greece.
Who with me?EVERYONE
northern africans arent black......
they're also doing another one in india for asian stuff
If you played Black Flag, there was also this
PROPER AC game.
And yes, give me China or Japan, begging for a good AC game in that setting, but that would make too much sense. Its not like they had an already established Asian character ready to go. Nope. Stuff her into a shitty side spin off, then bury her when people arent "interested" No Ubisoft, we're interested, just not in a crappy ass 2d spinoff.
*yes, yes Chronicles China was decent, but i still wanted a mainline game*
Yeah you're completely wrongnorthern africans arent black......
In regards to a possible trilogy I hope they don't go back to Rome, I know ancient Rome is much older than the Renaissance period but still.
I hope all the statues are accurately painted:
Goodnight, sweet prince.Forget Prince of Persia. It will never come back. The reason why AC exists at all is because PoP meant Ubi has to pay for license, since they don't own the IP. AC is Ubi's own IP, so merchandising and all that shit is theirs to keep. PoP is financially not worth it.
It's a shame that the only AC that everybody is hating is the one they make in 4 and half years...
I assume that in few years people will look back and see how wonderful and amazing Unity is.
Glad they realized that it was time to give it a break in order to try and make something fresh.
i loved it, and i want to see where the story goes after dead kings.if they are really rebooting this its lame
Launches....Jan 1st 2017
Just wait and see. Totally 2 years off....right?
You know that only Brotherhood and Rogue was made in one year right?
I hope it's a soft reboot at least, I don't mind a future story but the current one is going absolutely nowhere.
Hopefully Kotaku don't get thrown in a Gulag for confirming this, they are so brave.
I'm going to optimistically assume that "biannual" in the sense that the article was referring to is indeed once every 2 years and not the worst-case twice a year scenario.
