This is absolute bullshit, as is pretty much everything else you're saying. It's illegal in the UK to leave a bag unattended.
This was your original statement:No, the difference between those acts is not. The difference between a crime and a felony in response to my statement were. Both are crimes. The distinction is arbitrary.
This thread must be full of so many people that behaved perfectly as kids. People that never did something they knew was wrong, and people that never broke a law in their lives.
It must be wonderful to be like that, but I know your secret.
Not a single fucking one of you can claim this
yup, thats what all americans are. A bunch of brutes that have it hard grained into their genetically american code morals? What about every other country with a code of morals, or set of laws based on ours? Will they ultimately end up being as prone to locking everyone up that harms other people? Hopefully if most countries don't already do that.
Remove the link, it has personal information if it is real.
This stuff is getting crazy man.
It's like the ending of Mission Impossible... so much unmasking going on.
Wellp, it had to happen.
Another group claim to have unmasked the FinestSquad:

Don't know if it's real :S
Comparison? No. Of course it doesn't compare. It was a real life example of how a 12 year old does not consider the effects and outcomes of doing something wrong the same way an adult does. I'm not saying it's anywhere near the same, it was posted in relation to the difference in understanding of outcomes, even when they know it was wrong. I thought that was pretty clear. No, we didn't call in bomb threats, and I'm not saying that's the norm. I'm saying it's real easy for kids to do this stuff these days, and so saying it's 'an adult crime' and 'they think like adults' because of the nature of what they did, is crap. I have only brought it down to the level of children make mistakes, because of posts calling for a life sentence, or a death sentence of a child. Not because I think what these people did is ok.
See 'most places'. There are many places where it makes no difference at all.
Yes, I can see there are orders of magnitude, but a child will misbehave, and a child will do things they know are wrong. Life in prison to any child is fucking abhorrent, because they cannot be held responsible for their actions to the same degree as an adult.
I'm glad you used the term felony there. That arbitrary distinction makes it ok. You have broken some law I assure you, however small. It's illegal in the UK to leave a bag unattended. Go 11% over the speed limit etc. People do this stuff every day, and no it's not comparable to what these people did, but that isn't the point. The point is no one is clean, everyone makes mistakes, and locking children up for life because of it is stupid in the extreme.
They aren't going to jail or be punished.
They are considered as a more valuable resources than most of us tbh.
They will be send over to the FBI/CIA/NSA to integrate them into the 'hidden war' against other nation states.
The more hackers or people that understand cyber-warfare under a state's control, the better.
We will need it since China and RU regularly attack our homeland security system.
I hope all these kids will mature enough during their time with the FBI/CIA/NSA that they will continue to use their skill sets for a good cause in the future.
And beside, the career in the private industry is easily 6 figures for these guys. They just need to behave.

This was your original statement:
So, whether you intended to do so or not, you have implied that "kids will be kids" mistakes and misdemeanors are somehow comparable to deliberate acts of malice, like blackmailing women for nude pictures under the potential threat of death and calling in false terrorism threats to an airport. The "Let ye who hast not sinned cast the first stone" argument is simply not applicable here, and it would take an insane display of mental gymnastics to say otherwise. The acts committed by these individuals were intentionally harmful and real people were harmed as a result, in no way can this be compared to any "kids will be kids" type of victimless crime.
"its easier to do these things" is just an excuse. The problem is anonymity that exists because of the internet. Its easier for people to think they can get away with these things is more of an accurate statement. The internet tends to bring out the worst in people but thats not an excuse. 20 years ago you could easily call in bomb threats/swat people or perform other heinous crimes the internet merely makes people easier targets thanks to information of the intended victims being easier to obtain. And you know what the kids that did stupid crap beyond normal kid stuff still did it anyways 20 years ago. You have only a handful of kids here doing this stuff. A majority of teenagers still only go as far as talking trash online. So could it possibly be that these handful of teenagers have just taken it to a level beyond "its just childish pranks"? Clearly they are the minority so that reasoning that "kids will be kids" or "its different in this day and age" seems to be off.
the point is you argument is pure BS you are telling me everyone as a kid swatted people? blackmaile woman to get their nudes? landed planes with bomb threads? fucked millions of people leaving them without a paid service?
come on man..
It's usually left open to be monitored and watched.
But damn those are some young hackers. If it wasn't for that dumb threat with the airplane they possibly could have even been offered jobs... .hell how do you think google and Facebook got a few people on there staff....
Could of had a future somewhere....good luck now.
it just got sillierThis whole thing is just silly at this point.
The host expressions were great. So they want to cyber attack the government because we have to pay taxes and prostitution is illegal.
Man that anti government rant has to be up there for fuckery of the year. Has to be.
LMAO, the host's facial expressions are priceless.
I actually thought he was a text to speech program when he first started talking. And then he commenced to cut a wrestling promo for the ages.Lol that dude is the funniest public speaker I have ever heard. His pauses when he speaks are classic, and i aint saying he al qaeda lolz.
Paying taxes and prostitution, he clearly thought out all this shit.

Just FYI, they were never taken down, and in fact, are back on twitter (@lizardmafia) and are planning something for Xmas.
Sorry, on phone, can't paste pics or links. Hold on to your connection errors this holiday break!
I don't believe it for a second. If nothing actually happened they would've started attacks again as proof they were big and tough and still out there. None of this "just you wait until Christmas" nonsense.
