Scorpio is going to take up a lot of time
Will it, I mean we already have a big blow out for it. All they really need to do is show the price and new ui elements.

They're gonna have to show what games look like on it
Then there's the VR compatibility we haven't heard much about, and whatever secret features we haven't heard about
does clicking on the circle icon in win10 constitute as 'using' cortana? i clicked twice when i upgraded tp win10 and thats about it. am i considered a cortana user too?
i know i used google assistant/now on my phone alot though.
Well, going off my last post and some reading I've been doing since...
My big E3 guess is that we will see either a new Phantom Dust, a much bigger follow up to Crimson Dragon, or the long overdue sequel to the OG Xbox's Panzer Dragoon Orta.

wait, Futatsugi is rumored to be working on something?
I never understood why he wasnt involved in the new PD in the first place
So I just mentioned this in the Phantom Dust OT, but it might be better asked here:
Does anyone have any clue as to what's going on with Yukio Futatsugi and Grounding Inc?
Only game they released was the middling launch title Crimson Dragon, which was inspired by the Panzer Dragoon series he was responsible for directing. Other than that, there's just been the Phantom Dust rerelease (he was the director of that game as well).
There's been silence from both for going on 4 years now, the last article I can find talking about them from Wikipedia is dated 2013.
Other than that, Phil Spencer bought him up back in June 2015 when people were asking about the cancellation of the Darkside Phantom Dust project, mentioning that he wanted the creators involvement in any project concerning Phantom Dust moving forward and that they were still looking for the "right developer".
Any chance there's been a project cooking under our noses this whole time?

any kind of Cortana use, which includes text, voice, and assistant notifications based on user input.
No, there is no rumor he is working on anything, it's just speculation on my part:
Edit: Its also worth pointing out that last we heard he was interested in making Crimson Dragon a full fledged RPG and also discussing HD ports of the Panzer Dragoon Saga. That was 3+ years ago. Just around the time it takes to make a larger scale game...

Hey, I posted this on the E3 thread but I'll repost it here:
Not sure this has been reported already but Mark Lawrence, one of my favourite Fantasy authors, tweeted today that an Xbox game based in one of his short stories could be a possibility.

tweet deleted. Guess either its happening or it isnt a finalized deal yet
Its my first time talking to Kamiya in depth since he first told me about Scalebound, over three years ago. In that last meeting, he showed me his personal arcade collection, and we discussed his career and development philosophies with the excited underpinnings of this new passion project he was making with Microsoft.
Its impossible to not ask about the death of a game that was incredibly personal to Kamiya, but also a bold new direction for Platinum.
For the fans, an apology is really all that I can offer. Im terribly sorry. Kamiya says with conviction. The staff here at Platinum, the creative team at Microsoft, there were a lot of people who worked on this game and tried to make it special. I feel a lot of weight for not being able to have had something come from their efforts."
Although disappointed, Kamiya acknowledges that the process was important regardless of the the outcome. Along the way we learned a lot and gained new experience, he continues, so the time we spent was not wasted. This time the outcome was unfortunate, but its always been the way that as soon as one project is finished then its onwards to the next, and thats just how it will be this time too. The value of this experience seems paramount as a motivation for moving on.
IGN First this month is a tour of Japanese studios, starting with Platinum.
It's a good read and would say folk should check it out. I felt this was a good thread to put this excerpt

There doesn't seem to be a lot of bad blood or animosity, which is both surprising and reassuring.

Good stuff I'll update it later. Gona distinguish that it's a paid early access though. $15 gets you the Founders Pack to download the game. It will launch for free later in the yearMentioned it in the E3 thread, but Fable Fortune launches on July 11. Doesn't look half bad
Good. Thread worthy imo so more people see it.

Haha, I made one and was the only person to reply to it, I think I choses the wrong headline.....

Always happy to include Casual Games Studio! I kill a lot of time with Solitaire on iOS .Hey y'all. I know that GAF isn't really our audience, but since OP took the time to actually include the Casual Games Studio, I figured I'd pop in for a little self promo.
Today we just released Microsoft Ultimate Word Games! If you like word games, give it a shot! You can find it on the Windows 10 Store.

Was expecting a lot more after phils comments in April
which year?
Think they'll be announcing anything during the daily streams? Not anything big obviously, but I'm still holding out hope for ReCore Definitive Edition. The DLC is long overdue.
All we saw was CD single player, hoping multiplayer brings it2017 with Halo Wars 2, Forza 7, and that ass game of crackdown 3. Plus Cuphead.
This is fucking embarassing.
