Zelda looks amazing, can't wait. Have to say, though, that the extended version is just so... unrealistic. No one is going to play games in 99% of those situations, and I feel like motion controls were 5 years ago. I feel like if these are the selling points they want to push, they are not speaking to a lot of people.
I don't know, ARMS part immediately evoked a, man I miss Wii Sports moment in my mind. If that riles enough people up to buy one that skipped the Wii U then it is doing its job.
(I'm guessing this is what you are referring to as the 99% of those situations): The whole party atmosphere playing Harry Potter 1,2 Switch. It isn't as far off as you think, there's still a market for casual party games. Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Wii Sports, they were all massive successes in college and party atmospheres; I don't think that market just dried up, just need to re-tap it. Now do I think playing a western shoot out game is it? No, but it's not a bad market to target.
For the other situations, I've played my 3DS just about everywhere. I don't see how its a reach to think people will be playing this at the laundry mat or in classrooms (we've done the latter with the original DS download play).
