Sure you do.You can check when people have had threads about similar losses at Sony, I don't participate in them, I'm only interested really in the end product, don't feel the need to just constantly downplay and troll like you lot. That's why I don't go into many Sony threads even hough I've got a big collection of PlayStation games.t
It doesn't surprise me to see these people doing this and getting embarrassed though.
Yes? Your blind and sad devotion to the xbox brand is quite obvious to the point I think you might be a paid shill. Tell me all about your Playstation collection though.?
You doubting that
I don't understand why this idea keeps being repeated. Just buy them. Just buy it. Like that solves anything and everything. Again, as we are seeing with The Initiative now, if people are not happy they will just leave.

Officially adding you to the ignore list. Thanks warrior.Yes? Your blind and sad devotion to the xbox brand is quite obvious to the point I think you might be a paid shill. Tell me all about your Playstation collection though.
Everyone knows Riky is paid by the VRR industry, not Microsoft.Yes? Your blind and sad devotion to the xbox brand is quite obvious to the point I think you might be a paid shill. Tell me all about your Playstation collection though.
Idk if people need to be "worried", though. What apparently happened is that some Initiative dudes were unhappy that Crystal Dynamics was running the show and they had no say in it. Maybe Microsoft promised them much more creative freedom and now they found themselves to be just a cog in the Crystal Dynamics machine, so they left. This doesn't mean the game is in trouble though, it's just gonna be a Crystal Dynamics game. His twitter bio says Gaming Editor at Windows Central, co-host of the Xbox Two Podcast, covering Xbox, Microsoft. Seems pretty unbiased.
Why? I'm doing just fine. Post it or don't. Your fanboyism is off the charts regardless. You call what I do trolling but I only argue with facts or logic. I don't post misinformation. I don't get emotional and put people on ignore. I've probably given MS more money over the years than you have. I simply have no reason to own one of their consoles anymore.Says the person who is in every Xbox thread trolling away tirelessly.
Since your so confident I'll post my collection up, take a perma ban bet with you. See what balls you have

You’re literally the first and hopefully last person I’m putting on an ignore list. You are attacking Riky none stop and by looking at your post history you literally bombard any and every Xbox thread you can with trolling bullshit. You are one of the biggest Sony warriors here.Yes? Nope. Sold my one x a few years back once they started putting everything on PC. I've been a member of PC gamepass since day one. Great value. DO you own a ps5? Honestly.Thought so, none at all.
Doesn't have an Xbox but is in every thread trolling, that's a pretty sad existence.

Come on now. I'm not going to take that bait. I have no way of verifying if what you would post could be yours. You can use your words though. What's your favorite PlayStation game of the last few years? You keep doubting what I own, I'll take a perma ban bet with you, man up behind your words.

I've literally never gone into an xbox thread to troll. I have a little fun in some of the df stuff but that's no different than anyone else. The only xbox specific thread I participate in is anything related to gamepass. Which is a great service that I pay money for but you do you. You’re literally the first and hopefully last person I’m putting on an ignore list. I doubt you will be here too long if you keep it up. Peace.
To be fair, I think there is no reason to worry about the game or the studio. The timings are ok with being in the early stages offull production as they said a few months ago and all AAA games outsource work to several studios, which when famous it's called instead "co-develop". People leaving is normal with covid or also due to random personal reasons or due to someone being fired. California also has many top AAA studios, which all of them are also aggresively hiring because every generation they need more staff, plus now with remote work being more popular anyone from even other country can hire them.Idk if people need to be "worried", though. If you get proven wrong on something you just posted, shouldn't you accept some criticism if it's pointed out it was totally exaggerated and wrong?I have Riky and a bunch of dumb fucks blocked so didn't see the responses that Initiative twitter only had like 1 follower or whatever. I see now its a nothing burger. But can You blame me?

Everybody can be replaced, in AAA games there are thousands of people working in a game. I mean, some people thinks that Miyamoto continues desigining and directing the Mario games.
Although i dont really care about Perfect Dark, i'll laugh my arse off if the game ends up brilliant.
If the price is right Square is better off selling CD as CD last game bombed hard and Square money maker is Final Fantasy and their Japanese division not really the western europe gaming division & MS has unlimited money so if they make Square a offer for CD that is too good i can see Square selling them CDCrystal Dynamics is owned by Square right? I don't understand why some are calling for MS to buy them then. That would be super unlikely. A Japanese company isn't going to sell to a US one.
I mean i'm pretty sure The Initiative will be making the decisions, directing the game, with CD basically helping to build the game as 50 staff (or whatever it is cant build a AAA game).I mean with CD behind it I'm super optimistic they make quality games. But a lot of people within Redmond wont be laughing. Because this shows that they cant manage studios/projects. Which has been their entire issue over the past generations. And thats not a good look that you have to look forward to outside studios to make your games.

I was waiting for that though and i can see the inevitable coming a mile off. If the game ends up shit - Its down to The Initiative, if the game ends up good - its down to CD and nothing to do with The Initiative.
The preictability of it all can be mind numbing at times.

Well i think the major decisions with the game have probably already been done. The story, the structure of the game, the progression of the campaign, etc, and thats why CD were brought on board now as the game is locked in place and ready to be fully built.Well all leadership left dude? So CD is running the show. Main director left.
So now they need to either poach talent from CD to stay after PD is made or they have to hire more people to replace the people who left. Which I think will happen after this change over and the game is in a good place.

Although i dont know if we ever got any confirmation from Phil etc, but i'm sure a support studio was always intended to be brought on board for this game to help with building the actual game as 50-70 staff simply cant make a AAA size game, not unless they had like a 10-15 year dev window lol.
Well we will see. I havent really been following the story but wasnt the 'soft reboot' thing just a rumour?, from Twitter of all places. But the report is saying Soft Reboot? So probably basic story and characters things like that are probably staying. But systems like animation stuff like that are probably being thrown out. Soft Reboot means engine/tools and outline stuff will be used. But a lot of customizations to the game engine/systems will probably get changed.
Who knows if structure of what they originally wanted to do and make it episodic is changing too?
I mean this game is easily 3-4 years away now you know that right?

I think we just need to see what happens. If i'm kind of right then the game really should come within the next couple of years. If all this Twitter drama is true then like you said the game will be 3-4 years out, maybe even longer.
I'm just saying that IF the intention was always to bring a support studio on board to help with actually building the game, you would do that when the structure of the game is pinned down and devs can go straight into building.
…….
If you dont “participate” Im sure you’ll leave a laugh emoji or like for comments you like/dislike.
I cant be the only that noticed right?
You act like you dont bait or troll but you do….
Riky dont go to the mods complaining about baiting u little goody 2 shoes…. I dont “participate”

Maybe put me on the ignore list.Strange obsession with me, best put me on ignore.
You don't find that approach kind of odd? Why not build a traditional 350 - 450 head studio around the elite talent that you haveExactly, it was pretty obvious that a team that size was not producing an AAA game in any reasonable time frame, it was always the plan to collaborate later with a bigger studio as they've been saying.
As long as the they do the franchise justice it doesn't really matter in the end.
Probably a giant waste of money to pay the other 300 people to do nothing for several years while they figure out what to make. They may scale up to that level eventually, but on a first project it kind of makes sense to go this route. You don't find that approach kind of odd? It's very accurate, I was going to post the same info here in a different formatI dont know how accurate this is?

Lots of studios besides MS owned studios try to start with a large game first. It has nothing to do with MS "not putting in the work." I personally tend to think that a small game is a safer option like you suggested, but you see Jade Raymond's new studio, and that new Sony ex-Call of Duty studio (Deviation I think?) starting up and moving into larger games as well. Respawn did that as well.No. It makes more sense to do what they did with the 50-80 people have them make a small game to get their juices flowing to see what works and what doesn't studio wise. Like make a small arcade title, like a throw back arcade bet-'em up or point and click adventure or something.
Then move on to something like PD.
By that time you will know who works well who doesn't and which style of development top to bottom or bottom up works.
Microsoft threw money to get the dream team without putting in the work. And that means starting small and slowly losing/gaining people over time as they work on something smaller scale. Microsoft paid big money bought the best talent throughout the industry, "then just said have at it".
Doesn't work like that.
