I hope you haven't literally been searching for days, because there's simply no information available yet.
THIS, I have been searching for days for what benefits BF1 on PS4 PRO will have
THE BOTTOM LINE The PlayStation 4 Pro doesn't show major, noticeable improvements in the handful of games we were able to test early, but that could change with titles coming in the months and years ahead.
welp, looks like Ill wait till it goes on sale instead
Can anyone confirm if titanfall 2 requires any kind of patch to enable PS4 Pro functionality on day 1? I'd like to purchase a game for the pro that will always work with it without even a day 1 patch.
(Note: I saw some stories saying it didn't require it but I can't find the tweet anymore saying it was on disc, only a tweet saying there is a day 1 patch. Is this day one patch to enable Pro functionality?)
One negative review out of all the rest and that's the one everyone focuses on lol. Not surprised I suppose.
When the PS3 came out I remember people telling how 20ms and even 16ms were not good enough for a LCD TV. Nos people are rushing to get a 4k HDR tv with triple of that number. This is truly unbeliveable to me. So much hype for it, loads of money to get a not so good experience.
The games that are getting patched ate were not done thinking on 4k so they will look better but not OMG ITS A NEW GAME. Horizon will probably be the first title to have a great result in 4k mode... Even if I had the money to get a 4k now, I would wait at least until the next line of tvs with better tech. Anyone getting a TV now (the "cheaper" ones) will most probably have to upgrade in a few years.
I just see the PRO as a good option for those that are getting a ps4 for the first time now (50 more than the slim 1tb) and for those that have PSVR.
Pretty sure it's on disc, at least according to this http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/titanfall-2-will-have-ps4-pro-support-on-the-disk/0174306
Edit: Even if the day one patch is required, it's only 88 MB. You could use your cell phone for that.
Yeah, while the priority is probably more on all games going forward I do think we'll see more older games getting a patch once these systems are out since they can be used as a way to drum up some extra sales on older titles like you said.
I think since Sony is doing them for free I imagine they are probably prodding other devs not to charge for these patches, though obviously they probably can't demand that, hence their "we don't anticipate it" line in the FAQ, since they expect them to be free but can't force it.
I agree it indeed sounds like it's there day one. I also agree that 88MB is a rousing success in today's console landscape and especially for a game focused on multiplayer.
My question is for a niche market though. As someone that tries to collect games and hardware for the long haul, I would like to know if the PS4 Pro support is there without any day one patch. Imagine a scenario where in 15 years I want to show someone what the PS4 Pro brought to the table and the servers are down.
I think Sony really is playing it safe with this and will wait for Scorpio to see what that is all about before locking in specs for the next gen.
It's more practical but lacks the bling. OG PS3 was gorgeous, still have it on display after it ylod'd.So these reviews seem ok, what I expected.
What if I said a selling point for me is that it is an all matte finish? Not joking hardware manufacturers can shove high gloss surfaces.

What the hell is with bethesda? A more powerful machine and they struggle.I can confirm that Skyrim runs noticeably worse on the Pro (1080p). Played enough on the standard PS4, to notice the drops which mostly occur in the Riften forest or foggy areas. It's a damn shame since the game does look a hell of a lot better on the Pro.
The Elder Scrolls: Online is a lot smoother though and frame rate doesn't tank as hard as it usually does in trials for example.

So is "native 4K" a bunch of lies? I realise it outputs at 4K, but it's no different than how the Xbox One outputs 1080p by scaling right?
No, it's completely different, and there's a whole thread dedicated to a list of games with true native 4k.So is "native 4K" a bunch of lies? I realise it outputs at 4K, but it's no different than how the Xbox One outputs 1080p by scaling right?
2160p RGB.So what resolution do i choose in the settings 2160p- YU420 or 2160p-rgb ? I have a Samsung ks8000

Forza Horizon 3 outputs @ 4K from my Xbox One S. It's exactly the same thing as this PS4 Pro kajigger AND it has UHD Bluray playback. What are you all so excited about???literally no difference

It's about double the power and patched games that were not built from the ground up are already doing around 1440p upscaled to 4k.But if most PCs struggle with native 4K, and a PS4 could sometimes only manage 900p, how can a slightly more powerful PS4 output native 4K? No dynamic resolution, no scaling? I haven't been following the Pro at all,so I'm finding all of this very impressive!

Naw man just stating some Facts about how good the XB1S is.Are we just comparing random things?
What do you think the S stands for?omg xboxone s = scorpio all along ?
It doesn't, you can do it anytime. So I'm thinking I'm going to be backing up my PS4 to an external HDD for transfer to my Pro.
Does this process automatically deauthorize my current PS4 as my main PS4, or do I still have to do that manually? Do I do that before, or after, the backup?
Why?Naw man just stating some Facts about how good the XB1S is.
Why?
literally no difference
console power goes up, frame rate goes down
can't explain that
You're trolling, right?
I took a gander at your post history and it became a little more obvious.Just running icespide's joke into the ground, I've had a long day
