As I said in the other thread, it's disappointing if it's been delayed, but if that means an early 2015 release and bigger marketing campaign, I'm all for the delay.

Im sure Read dead 2 will be announced and released at the same time...only to eclipse it.

It was announced at the reveal last May, I don't think it was unreasonable to think at the time it wouldn't be that far off. It was at VGX (briefly), Microsoft have seemingly been on-board from early on which means I guess that it won't suffer Alan Wake's delays in finding a publisher, making changes to the game etc...

I was hoping for this year but as long as its get the proper time in the oven next year and MS market the shit out of it, i'll live.

Seems like tacit confirmation that the early stuff (announcement) couldn't have been in-game then.

Quantum Break gameplay was shown behind closed doors at E3 last year to several journalists. Apparently, it was a limited demo, but at least it was playable in some form at that time.

I think SO & the Halo stuff is whats slated for this year. Maybe Forza Horizon? Not sure we should expect too much else.

Typically they don't announce big games at E3 that then launch in the same year. Even if PS4 and One both have one such announcement, the year still looks very sparse for exclusives.

Yep. MS were in panic mode at E3 last year so just threw everything out there, even if it was too early for a proper reveal. Fable Legends, Quantum Break and Halo 5 were nowhere near ready.
