Gaming content creators are already getting their first taste of Project Helix through some exclusive merchandise. The gear, from what we can see so far, features a t-shirt, cap, hoodie, and an appreciation card signed by the new Xbox CEO, Asha Sharma. The new boss has been quick to try and win fans over, especially given her lack of gamer credentials and experience.
She openly admitted she's no Phil Spencer when taking the role in February, but is clearly keen to get stuck in. Project Helix was announced not long after Sharma took the helm, promising to provide gamers with versatility by playing both Xbox and PC games. If you didn't already know, Project Helix refers to the next-generation Xbox device; a final name is yet to be revealed.
Several creators in the United States have been taking to social media to show off their new (presumably free) gear. It's neatly shipped in Project Helix-branded packaging, about the size of something you'd expect the console to come in – but obviously that's not the case. The card, signed by Sharma, reads "Thanks for being on the journey with us".
