http://store.steampowered.com/app/245810/what game is this?
what game is this?
Pardon my ignorance, but what game is this? It makes me think Dead Space or something, but the low-poly makes me think it must be an older game.

I have a question, not screenshoots: what is bi cubic sharper? How can be implemented?

It's a downsampling option in Photoshop.
My FastStone has Bicubic, but not Bicubic sharp. Is it just outdated?
oops .my bad . thought they where the same thing .
Reading some of those comments made me want to stab myself in the eye with a fork. Should have known better...
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have nVidia nSpector but I should get it.If Influx has a demo i'd be glad to test and find a working custom bit for SGSSAA/OGSSAA/OGSSAA-Hybrid for you
Because those are what will get rid of the aliasing.
If there isn't a demo, try forcing 8xSGSSAA in Nvidia inspector with a custom profile made for the game with any of the following flags (make sure to add the .exe that runs when you are playing the game is set in the profile)
0x084012C3
0x080010C1
0x080000C1
0x000000C1

Glow around the ball could just be some odd specular component or could be SSAO Haloing
I tried a variety of AF, including 4x and 16x, both forced and ingame if I recall correctly. I think those screenshots were with 16x.It doesn't look like you have anisotropic filtering on either and those jpegs look rather lossy (that might just be the post process AA combined with no AF though).

To set your mind at rest, I have uploaded a bunch of BMPs (which abload apparently turned into PNGs) so you can compare with the 99% quality JPGs, but I doubt there's much difference. I don't think I had any post-process AA turned on unless that's what 16xCSAA does.
My best guess is that it's a UDK effect, possibly post-process, intended to blur the background. There are several areas like that, and it's usually the background/sky that turns very soft and blurry.Compare your shot here:

There is definitely no functioning AF or those are the weirdest textures ever designed to mimic the lack of AF.
Alpha Prime with 1800p 8xFSAA+FXAA down^ 900p with bloom disabled and the hud cropped out. Forgot to put that in there
Pretty interesting game IMO. Has it's flaws for sure, but fun.

Can I put out a request in case any one can do it?
If anyone gets into State of Decay I'd love to see how the game looks (especially in motion. The GIF thread would appreciate that)
I remember it being particularly ugly and sluggish on consoles.
I cannot believe the quality of these shots and the games they display.....I mean this is what video games are today.....unfuckinreal.

That first shot is genuinely photorealistic. There were a couple of scenes like that in the menu that i remember at frist thinking it was real film. The art style in KL2 was totally love it or hate it but i thought it really looked fantastic, and was great at covering up the fact that most of the models are quite basic
