Again, DX12 + better tools + 10% more power from dropping Kinect = more powerful than PS4. I mean PS4 is only like 40% more powerful if that, but once DX12 is used that drops to like 20% then the 10% from dropping kinect and then better tools = equal or more powerful. I'd imagine the better tools would make it more powerful TBH.
That's not even including the power of the cloud. I'm willing to bet Assassin's Creed Unity will run better on Xbox One than PS4 and PC.

Still a cross platform game. I'm looking forward to how vast the differences become using engines built just for PS4/XBO.
quite blurry? hardly. Its just a little bit blurry but its almost not even noticeable.

Nothing in the article implies that. They said the game looks better optimized on PS4 than XB1.
16xAF on PC

This shot shows a slight difference in color between the versions.
Why is that?
We see that in a lot of comparisons.

I like how it's always Xbox one quotes that are highlighted in the OP. What about comparing the ps4 and PC for example?

Wow, those first comparison screen shot are just ugly. Granted I have not played the game myself but if those screenshots are any indication, this game doesnt look very "next-gen"

I was going to say the same thing.
At face value, the game could be mistaken for GTAV.
And when that doesn't happen, how long are you going to be prepared to carry the banner?

It would be nice if any positives for each system were bold.
I'm trying to decide between a sellable physical/rentable X1 copy or waiting on a cheap PC copy down the road.

All that, plus you just wait until they unlock the dGPU and the hidden RAM.
XB1 will be over 9000xPS4.
"MHBAO is Ubisoft's in-house solution, described by Nvidia as a "half-resolution, console quality... technique" and seems to be in place on both PS4 and Xbox One, and it's also the standard solution for PC out of the box."
Right now the PC version is horrible compared to the others. It takes a lot to get it run smoothly and it still has weird hang ups.
Wut? There is no dGPU man. But DX12 + better tools + kinect being dropped is real. What's with people trying to downplay the inevitable? This is good for all gamers man. If XBO is more powerful then that means developers have an easier time porting games to PC thanks to DX12. I don't think XBO being more powerful than PS4 is going to be a big deal in the end. We might see things like 1080p on XBO and 900p on PS4. But we're like a year away from that becoming the norm. Surely that's better than developers being lazy like with Watch_Dogs right? They're probably not even using tiled resources which gives XBO a big boost in performance.
Either way, I can't wait till developers unlock the full potential of these consoles, just imagine all games looking like Ryse as the baseline! =O
Come on guys....really?

Anyways, we're getting off topic. I think the differences between the two aren't as big as other games. Hopefully they patch the AO in the XBO version, must be broken.
I wonder if I'm the only one bothered by the fact that the two NPCs shown ahead are both clearly levitating in the air (thanks to insufficient shadowmap resolution, or coordinate bump for shadowmap tolerances?). Glaringly obvious for the NPC on the left.

Why does the scale of height suddenly change in that picture? it goes up in 3 inch increments,
then suddenly jumps from 5'9 to 6'2. its almost as though they thought there were only 10 inches to that particular foot.
It is annoying.
I was hoping for a proper PC/PS4/XB1/PS3/360 comparison.
