There have to be a couple of good Kiss songs right? I mean I can#t name any but there have to be. Otherwise I don't know why they were popular.

I played the Dreamcast at E3 1999 and day one'd on 9/9/99. Still runs great. Though watching the games doesn't seem to translate as well.

I played a Dreamcast for the first time after it was already dead. I borrowed it from one of my father's colleagues. Played a bunch of it's games and there was some really cool stuff. It still was for the most part in an awkward place between PS1 and PS2.

I remember coming out of the first Rock Band thinking "hey, KISS aren't complete garbage" thanks to Detroit Rock City

That's normal, it's a mild form of hypnosis that occurs because of the scrolling track. It's the same reason that you might believe you see your walls scrolling by after a long session. As long as you come to your senses and realize that, no, Kiss are indeed complete garbage. If you don't return to normal within a few hours you probably should consult a specialist though.

Funny enough, the album hated most by KISS fans is the best album they ever put out.

I liked it when Vinny just shaved the sides of Dan`s hair. Except Vinny referenced Macklemore when instead he should have referenced Dante. Maybe then Dan wouldn`t have been so turned off by it.

Seeing all of those Tony Hawk demos makes me want a proper HD remaster of the old ones as well. Also, Kiss does suck, especially Gene Simmons.

The Demon cost WCW a ton of money when they were already circling the drain, and Jeff Gerstmann was there to witness it live. I think you'll find he's hiding in the background during many of the most terrible moments in history. Just something to think about.

Dumb content ideas I want to see.

Drew should walk Dan through the take off procedure of one of those flight sims.
Drew should watch Wrestlemania and sit in on the post WM power bomb cast and explain what he think happened.
Jeff should review Final Fantasy X-2

Just give me a proper HD remaster of THPS3 and I'll be okay. Truly one of the best games ever made.

I think that was one of the first games I played on the PS2, it was mindblowing at the time. Then I played 4 on the Gamecube, because why not?

Were the N64 versions of Tony Hawk really that bad? All of my friends had PS1s so I never really saw very many 64 versions of games until the early 2000s when I finally bought an old one.

I think the main criticism of the N64 versions of the games was that the soundtrack was cut down for some reason. The N64 version of THPS2 had 6 songs according to Wikipedia. The IGN review of the first game on N64 mentions that there's fewer songs, and that the songs are "looped".

I can also imagine the N64 controller not being very good for a game like THPS.

They were fine if they were all you had but yeah the other console versions were better. The N64 versions had far fewer tracks, many of them stripped of their lyrics and they were all rated E so all the "T rated" content was cut out.

I've only ever played THPS1 on the N64. The music is definitely much worse and it seems like it runs a bit slower than the PS1 version, but it's pretty much fine. There are also video screens in some levels that are absent in the N64 version. The port of 2 is much rougher though especially if you've played 2x on the Xbox.

The PS1 version of THPS4 is also super crazy.

They need to do another Breaking Brad. Rewatching the Doom II saga, and there are too many good moments to count.

I agree and I know we bug him all the time, but it's one of the best recurring features on the site. I really hope there's a new one soon.

Dark Forces plz

Yeah that was the one. People talk a lot of shit about underground but my 12 year old self played the shit out of it and loved every second. Had an incredible story. Well...maybe not, but I do remember the maps being great.
