Limited Run Games - Putting digital games into your hands

If LRG ships it via someone else than Canada Post then I'll almost certainly end up paying ~$25 extra in taxes plus "service fees" so I'd rather see the package delayed by a month or however long the strike goes on. No backup plan, please.

Oh god I hope that doesn't happen.

The first Walking Dead on Vita was published by Sony so that is the Telltale and Sony difference. Will have to double check later on the others. Like I said somewhere along the line I had less games than I own so I might have made some errors. Also might have made further errors when removing imports.

Ah good catch.

I'm trying to figure out where we differ in your numbers. It's just slight.

So all your numbers added up = 165
I show 168 games released, but since you're not counting MLB 15, Minecraft, Epic Mickey 2, or Rainbow Moon currently that is 164.

Shipping may be a bit slower this round due to our fulfillment center taking their time to make sure everything is done right this time.

So while it sucks to wait, it's also a good thing!

Y'all are just making me sad in this thread remembering that Telltale used to make games for Vita, and publish them physically too,

Tales from the Borderlands, where are you?

(Yes, that was meant to rhyme)

their Vita dev kits probably melted trying to run their trash engine :(

It wouldn't be so bad if they just pulled the plaster off and said "they're not coming".

Borderlands got revealed at E3 2014... more than two years ago.

And then Game of Thrones & Minecraft Story Mode were included in a sizzle reel for Vita at E3 2015.

And then all the games released for other platforms with no sign of Vita.

And then they re-confirmed on the PS Blog in February this year that their titles were still coming to Vita.

And now it's nearly September and I'm playing none of these games. I know their engine is arse and their titles are entry-level adventure games, but I still really enjoy them. I'd play them elsewhere, but I enjoy them most on my favourite handheld and there's the slight promise that they might happen, so I keep waiting lol.

(Sorry for massive off topic, I know :p)

Have any of the missing Telltale games come out on iPad 2? In terms of power, the Vita is pretty on point with iPad 2. Anything running there should port to the Vita pretty smoothly. Obviously the work is not negligible, but it's at least feasible if they have an iOS version running on lower spectrum devices.

There is a lot that more than just that which makes me sad when I look at what the Vita was getting early on in North America before so many Western devs bailed. But most of all as a Canadian not getting at least one NHL game makes me stereotypically sad =(

I'm not Canadian, but it makes me sad too. Last portable hockey game I remember was 07 on PSP right?

If this means that I'll actually get my Vita replacement cases instead of PS4 cases, then they can take all the time they need.

Hey, can anyone confirm if the LRG version of Soldner-X 2 is PSTV compatible? There's nothing on the box mentioning it, and my Vita's out of commission until I replace the charging cable.

No idea to be honest, I don't quite understand how all these OS and hardware revisions work with phones :(

What really needs to get physical releases is licensed games (including games with licensed music) but those are probably the hardest to get for LRG. Castle of Illusion is supposedly joining the likes of X-Men Arcade, Simpson's Arcade and Scott Pilgrim this week and being delisted from Steam, PSN and XBLA. Only the people who already bought it will ever get a chance to play it.

Indies can get delisted but it's normally not urgent. Every licensed game on the other hand is a ticking time bomb.

more news. or teases I guess

"All applicable branding elements" sounds good to me. I absolutely hate when games have reversible covers that don't look like they could have been retail versions of the game.

Same.

I don't need everything, but it drives me crazy when the spine is lacking the system name or title or whatever, and just looks totally out of place with the other games. Usually end up not reversing.

I will buy each and every LRG Atelier release if they do them, not only because it's one of my favourite series but also because they alone take up like 12GB of my memory card lol.

I always love the reversible art games have but can never bring myself to leave the covers reversed if the game will stick out on my shelf. I need that consistency!

Me too. Trillion and Tearaway are the only games where I reversed the covers, because they're consistent with the regular cover.

Didn't The Stranger of Sword City also have one? I think it was only available in the collectors, though.

Just got a shipping notification for Shadow Complex. =) Hopefully Rainbow Moon to follow soon.

Mine's the opposite. I got shipping confirmation on Rainbow Moon Vita, but not the others yet. I did place 3 different orders though, one for the sounds tracks, one for the vita game and then a last order for the PS4 games. At least they shipped my most important game first :)
