I have Civ 5 and love it but could use something similar but different. Is this different enough to warrant a purchase?

Yeah it definitely should, I'm not sure but I think it's slightly more optimized than the base game.

It's better than gta4 and it's not even close.

Unlikely. If that was the reason then they would pull more recent titles, not older ones.

Yes, there's a Removed Games Collector group.. You need 60 removed games to join and have access to the group-only discussion part where there is several different threads: Where to buy some of the games removed from Steam/ List of high-risk games that might be removed/ etc. There's also a public thread for general discussion.

Starbound vs rust. Very different games but both deal with survival and building, both in early access. Only willing to buy one at this point. Thoughts?

I like Starbound myself. Rust has good immersion and a very dangerous multiplayer aspect, get it if you like simulation survival games, i.e DayZ, etc.. Starbound is kind similar to Terraria except you have an infinite amount of worlds to explore.

Actually I think RUSE is Steamworks and not uPlay.

The steam version is a bit weird. You can link it to a uplay account and earn points and get rewards from it. It doesn't actually show up on your uplay account though and you can de-link it and attach it to a different account. Ubisoft must have still been deciding how to have both steam and uplay work together at the time.
