Interestingly enough, the trophy descriptions were written by my buddy Akihiro Toda, the man responsible for writing much of the dialogue in Mother 3 as well as everyone's favorite digital acid trip, a.k.a. Moonside in Mother 2.

Unfortunately, no. One of Custom Side Specials actually decreases the distance traveled and brings him down faster.
Little Mac and Palutena! I've also been playing a little Ness. Peach is too difficult for me control on the 3DS; I've been having trouble effectively executing floating aerials without accidentally performing a special or something else. Really want to get into Greninja and Robin as well, maybe even one of the Pits.

Didn't think I would, but I think I'm officially going to switch from Marth to Lucina. It wasn't till I played her for an hour or two that I realized that Marth without the tipping mechanic and the spacing game it comes with pretty much becomes a rushdown character, which is more in line with my preferred playstyle in fighters. The arc for her spike is a lot more generous, which is nice, too.

It's fine, unless you're playing as someone who has pretty terrible kill moves.
Smash Run with the character you want to unlock the moves for. You have a higher chance of getting moves for the character you are currently playing as.
I've seen some players play classic mode on 9.0. Not sure if that's the fastest way tho.
Does anyone know how to get Mr. Game And Watch's level unlocked? I thought you had to complete the first row of challenges, but I still don't have it. It's the only major thing left I have to unlock.

Interestingly enough, Japan really kinda hates MOTHER3. This may be why Ness is back in Smash while Lucas got cut.

I've heard in general that the nerfs to Marth are so notorious Lucina is the better character.

Yet at the same time it's one of the funniest games I've ever played, filled with happy and light-hearted moments. It's really worth playing, avoid spoilers if you can.

Field Smash or Classic 8.0+ and good slots timing skills. The slots cycle through 4/5 different rewards 3 or 4 times, so it's possible to select the one you want.

Huh. For some reason, shielding did me no good--I still got sucked up into the sword vortex--but I'll try again. Hopefully I get lucky like you did!

Between the range, throw and speed nerfs, I'd be inclined to agree. About the only good thing I can think of is that his counter has more knockback than it's ever had. That's about it.

Possibly, I'm not sure. I don't have any good sources. But just because it sold well doesn't necessarily mean that it was well received by fans.
Edit: Here's part one of that article. It mentions MOTHER 3 didn't sell as well as Nintendo expected apparently.

So amazing. I really like a lot of changes to most of veterans. So good.
I think that's the best part. Things are different, a lot of things are better, but not many are already dismissing it. People are seeing a lot of potential in this game. Yeah, it's not melee, but it's basically what brawl SHOULD have been. It's like the direction brawl was going in, but fully executed. More approachable, but not bad, dull, boring, or broken. Well, broken is hard to tell, but so far, it's definitely not bad, dull, or boring.
They're saved to SD card, but you can't view them outside of smash bros. It saves the game data, kinda like how starcraft replays work, so that the game can reproduce the playback. It's not saving a video.
Currently, it's impossible to export the replay, or even share it w/ smash friends, afaik. You can rewatch it in game as much as you want, but that's it.

Not anything that screams "must buy!" The CYBER one seems well-reviewed. As is the dreamGEAR Comfort one. But both mention flaws that make them not a perfect solution. I don't know. I might roll the dice and get the CYBER one and see what happens.

Yes! I beat Classic Mode with everyone and Menu 2 started playing when I went to the main menu. I was worried they had taken it out since I couldn't find it in the sound test.

yeah, but a LOT of that was because of 2's quality and the anticipation for the sequel.
I like 3 all right too, but the huge tone shift from 2 put a lot of people off
