He said the official date after they announced it. The VGX or VGX replacement was going to happen early December (specially the first week of December) like it always does.
He didn't really predict anything that was out of the norm. If they happen to announce 1 1st party and 1 3rd party exclusive? Then yeah, he probably knew something.

He didn't tweet the event dates until after the event was announced.
The only thing he tweeted beforehand were the two exclusive games in early December tidbit.
Anyway, I'm sure games will be announced, but don't bet your shit on Tidux.

But that first Party/Third Party rumor comes from him.

Of course something out of his list will be true... Its just too vague and I dont think he should have credit for it if something out of his list turns out to be true

Verendus's post isn't meant to hype up anything. He put everything including no new announcements in there as options. It's meant to make people commit to their hype I guess. And now that he's unbanned he can cash in on the Knack avatar army. Though he should be back adding new people to the list now to maximize Knackiness.

I was asked and wanted to come but I can't make it due to the crazy cost of flights from Toronto (was going to be almost 800 for flights that make sense). I found a cheaper 500 flight but would have had to leave Sunday morning missing all of day 2. Im pretty bummed out about it. I was going to try going out of buffalo (way cheaper flying fom the states) but after seeing what the last snow storm did ....

They are close enough to having all the APIs in place to support Gesture control, Move, AR, VR to start Demoing what's coming and give apx release dates.
Khronos Finalized OpenVX 1.0 specification released October 20, 2014, we got PS4 firmware 2.0 Oct 28th. Sony always waits till new standards reach 1.0 status to update the Firmware to support it. From that point forward we get stability updates when those standards are updated.
OpenVX includes the tools for Gesture recognition, Move support and AR. The PS4 and XB1 have Xtensa DPU processors for audio and my speculation, have Xtensa DPU processors for video which would also be used to support low power OpenVX besides video codecs, encryption/decryption for DRM (HDCP, Playready, WMDRM10 for DTCP-IP) and low power second GPU. There is one missing standard for the camera called OpenKcam which is supposed to reach 1.0 status 1Q15.
So they can announce what's coming, Games just using OpenVX can now ship but AR or anything that has the GAME controlling the camera can't be released yet or rather must support routines internally rather than use Sony APIs. Demos running at the Dec 6 Playstation Experience will likely be using everything including OpenKcam.
Live from Playstation and The Playroom have features right out of OpenVX and OpenKcam. This begs the question, are the routines already in the PS4? Khronos starts with a list of proposed APIs and sometime later Finalizes the list of proposals with the 1.0 final release. Sony apparently develops the routines with corresponding APIs in OpenVX and OpenKcam but holds off allowing Developers to release games using those APIs till Khronos finalizes them. Why then a Firmware update....I suspect Live from Playstation and The Playroom are using the routines included within them not calling APIs. After the APIs are in Firmware updates they could be rewritten to use the Xtensa DPU rather than perhaps OpenCL and the APU.
If sony wanted to waste money they could just give it to me.

It is more than likely going to be the next Fallout instalment. If they go straight back to Elder Scrolls then I'd expect Obsidian to take over Fallout.
I only say that because of the amount of development time between Bethesda titles, if they skip a Fallout, there won't be one until around 2020.

I like the sound of a DMC5 exclusive, Capcom, in general, seem to be open for exclusivity deals lately, so possibly a SF game instead. Also think that there is a chance Sony could go for securing Destiny 2 as an exclusive.
I personally think the FF7 hope, although I want it, is too far fetched. Square have a few things on the horizon for the PS4 and Xbone, they are probably overworked right now!
Silent Hills exclusive just popped in to mind too.
One of the above I think is entirely possible, FF7 being the least likely, although it is the oldest rumor!

But they have an exclusive game with From Software, and I'm going to guess that Bloodborne will sell more than Scalebound, Bayonetta 2 or The Wonderful 101.
This bothers me too but at least Sony has exclusive deals with many others devs, big (Capcom, Namco, From Software...) and small (Housemarque, Tequila Works...).
Platinum isn't the only one worthy of attention after all.

So are we going to get a repeat of the TombRaider nonsense? I have both consoles so I can play a 3rd party exclusive, but I don't like the practice.
If it is more like Bayonetta 2 then that is ok. Shenmue 3 for instance - would that annoy people as the previous game was on Xbox and dreamcast

Tomb Raider nonsense is the worst.
We need more positive reinforcements in the business. I'd rather Sony put in money to significantly market Persona 5 as an appreciation of the fact that the title is a Playstation exclusive, if only because some Japanese devs still do stuff like that on their whim and foppery.

They're rolling up pretty much daily updates, either dev teasers, new panels, etc.
I don't know if there'll be the 'big thing' that GAF deems worthy, but it's clear that Sony's putting in a lot of mojo into PSX. Maybe not from a 'omg megatons be dropped' standpoint, but the amount of content that will be coming out of PSX will be absurd, even solely from the panels being hosted.
