They better bring out that XB1.5 by the time this comes out.
Can't imagine all the things they'll have to cut back to get it running on XB1.

I'm definitely more interested in this than COD for once - seems like it could be awesome. Wanted a WW1 setting for a long time and a alternate history setting makes a lot of sense in terms of gameplay. Bet it's stunning to boot.

Battlefield formula and BF4 dont go together. The true Battlefield formula can only be found in Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 2. You can find signs of it in Bad Company 2. The rest is trash, its not Battlefield after 2 really. They tried to hard to go after COD. I hope this changes things. I have been playing the series from the launch of 1942, it's time to bring back the real Battlefield formula.
What is this Battlefield formula you speak of?
Because if it's not rediculously OP planes and jets or long line of sites meaning you can get sniped a mile away with no clue who shot you, then it's basically the same thing as BF4, just not dated.

Hope this is true...love all the battlefield games but none of them has topped 1942 for me yet. And the best one since 1942 was the 1943 version.

Nothing will ever be BF2 again. I know. I played a shit ton of those games. Get over it.

Ok I'm pretty hyped that this is a WW1 Battlefield and it seems to be about the Harlem Hellfighters which is so badass I can't even handle it. I am completely on board with this.

Fascinating how it's referred to as "The" World War. Usually I see it referred to as the Great War in pre-WWII documentation.

It is interesting, I have no idea when it was constructed but I would imagine very shortly after or possibly during WWI... The plaque is located in Clerkenwell, London, if you were curious.

Big scale, slower, sandbox levels and vehicle focused.

It is now (mostly) smaller, faster, gimmick levels and a lot of focus on infantry gameplay.

Ugh.. Why do they insist on the tacky cyan and orange design? It was fine with 3, but then 4 had it aswell and it made it look like 3.5, and now they're doing it again!

I'm guessing they'll have a another farting version of the theme tune as well...

They don't teach anything in school anymore I think... Makes me sad.

Apparently not. I knew what Zeppelins were well before High School. I knew that there weren't helicopters. I recognized most of the attire and armaments in the picture.

I love history though...so that probably helps. I don't pursue it or anything, but if these are adults commenting (over 18)...sheesh.

Check out history guys....some great and interesting things in there. Heheh.

I mean come on, the Hindenburg is one of history's most talked about/popular air disaster.

I wonder how many parents are gonna buy their kid(s) the wrong BF game because they assume BF1 is the oldest one.

haha i can see it now. Kid says "I want Battlefield". Parent goes to store, sees Battlefield 1, 4, and Hardline and is like wtf, which one?!

So far there's no hard evidence that points to an anything other than an authentic WW1 experience right? Even the cover makes it seem this way.
