Probably the giant blimp?
What is this Battlefield formula you speak of?Battlefield formula and BF4 dont go together. The true Battlefield formula can only be found in Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 2. You can find signs of it in Bad Company 2. The rest is trash, its not Battlefield after 2 really. They tried to hard to go after COD. I hope this changes things. I have been playing the series from the launch of 1942, it's time to bring back the real Battlefield formula.

Fascinating how it's referred to as "The" World War. Usually I see it referred to as the Great War in pre-WWII documentation.Lol...

What's with people thinking the WW1 setting = boring game. This is a videogame, WW1 can be the theme without them staying 100% true to it.
What are you talking about? The broomhandle mauser didnt come out until1896the 1940s.
There was even a thread in the offtopic about tech in wwI. Sure looked interesting, but not very fun from a gaming perspective.
Why would a disc have an ad for its dlc? It's just an oddly shaped adThe disc doesn't even have a hole in it lol
They could have put some effort in to it
The real reason for the whole thing was that it was too much effort not to have a war.
doesn't really sound like much fun to play.
It's not a disc, though. Just a round poster. The disc doesn't even have a hole in it lol

if it's realistic, can't wait to instantly die or freeze to death.

You missed the strike I did in my post.
I wonder how many parents are gonna buy their kid(s) the wrong BF game because they assume BF1 is the oldest one.

I'm down. I'd love for it to go back to WW1/2. We'll know in a couple of hours for sure.

Because if it's not rediculously OP planes and jets or long line of sites meaning you can get sniped a mile away with no clue who shot you, then it's basically the same thing as BF4, just not dated.
I'd much rather have this than bad company 3
Kids don't play Battlefield.

huh why?
Ugh.. Why do they insist on the tacky cyan and orange design? It was fine with 3, but then 4 had it aswell and it made it look like 3.5, and now they're doing it again!
I'm guessing they'll have a another farting version of the theme tune as well...
They don't teach anything in school anymore I think... Makes me sad.
