Sanders campaign requests removal of 2 DNC members, threatens to halt convention

This is why I had to laugh when seemingly level headed people suggested the DNC let Sanders have his way to pacify him. That it wouldn't matter in the long run. No, this guy is a belligerent loser who'll keep trying to take a mile every time you give him an inch.

No surprise he wants to kick out the one guy who's rightly called him on his purity troll, bridge burning bullshit.

Hopefully this will wake up "some" of his more fervent followers to the realization Bernie doesn't give a fuck about them. All Bernie gives a shit about is Bernie. It's pathetic. Sad little man baby.

They would just cheer on the chaos. Rememeber they hope for riots.

What a wild and crazy guy!

Sanders is a regular shitlord. I'm perpetually embarrassed that I voted for him in the primary

Put me in the "embarrassed to have voted for Bernie Sanders" camp as well. This dude couldn't give less of a fuck about the Democratic Party and it's pretty obvious.

Stopped following the things on the Democratic side after Hillary locked it up, but this is just embarassing.

From what I've seen, it's been alot of posturing by the Sanders campaign. I'm careful to say it's from Sanders himself, but he's said some disparaging things that haven't helped either...

I'm sure he's being swayed by his aides egging him on, but at this point yeah...it's...he's really not helping.

I'm just going to quote myself from the other thread

A bitter, desperate old career politician. Who's finally got the spot light he believes he deserves. And will do anything to stay on the national stage even if it means sabotaging every bit of progress Obama managed to squeeze out of the last 8 Years. And set this country tumbling backwards for the next 20 years.

Bernie Sanders is a piece of shit.

Same. I voted for him & enthusiastically supported him a few months ago; I could not regret that more now.

Good lord. I've lost so much respect for Sanders since he started running. It's crazy how hard he's driving his campaign into the ground.

I agree this seems unnecessary, but "procedural means" is not Trump esque.

I don't know what personal gripes Bernie has Barnie but saying "barnie is awesome" is reductionist.

Barnie is 100 percent get paid 20 percent of wall street bribes pay to lose establishment Democrat, so I see why him and Bernie dont always see eye to eye.

Sanders is taking his L so badly he's managing to make Nick Denton look like he's rolling with the punches.

Garbage-tier.

Sanders is basically saying hey DNC remember Nevada, remember the chaos and harassment and death threats?

Give me what I want or I'll bring that on a national scale.

Fuck him and fuck his campaign.

Don't give him shit. There's a reason they're sending this now and not before the upcoming primaries in NJ and CAL.

Wait till he's completely lost both, and Hillary has sealed the deal with pledged delegates and popular votes.

Then sit around the convention and let him have his bitchfest and see what everyone will think of him.

Oh Sanders I voted for you because I hoped you would move Hilary slightly further left, which you did. Then you let your ego get the best of you and now I am embarrassed I ever supported you.

At this point Bernie was never about his "cause". Bernie was about Bernie. I hope people can see that now.

Democrats need to pull together to stop Trump and he'd rather burn it down than accept defeat. It's okay for someone privileged like himself, but for those whom a Trump presidency is a disaster (read: everyone else, including our relations abroad), it's petty, ridiculous, and quite frankly, if he's this way now, what kind of president would he be?

Maybe he is on the payroll of Trump after all.

I use to find it funny when people would say Sanders would not endorse Clinton. I'm not finding it funny anymore. This is a man that has now shown he loathes the Democratic party. I don't think he's going to support it.

Of course it's from Bernie himself. Weaver and Devine aren't sending off a letter like this behind their candidate's back.

Now, maybe Weaver, Devine and a couple others have created this echo chamber around Bernie, making him buy more and more into his own hype. But the idea that decisions like these aren't coming from the top down is pretty hard to believe. And if they are, that calls his leadership abilities pretty sharply into question.

Even if he does? At this point it's basically worthless.

Bernie Sanders doesn't give a shit about the country, the citizens living in it, or humanity in general. He is an ideologue obsessed with his own voice and unwilling to even consider mild deviation from his beliefs no matter what the facts may be. He is the left wing Donald Trump in every way, and just as disgusting of a human being. I've been telling people this for months, and now Sanders is doing me the favor of proving it.

He would rather people die due to a lack of coverage than settle on universal healthcare that is not entirely single payer and somehow people think he has the moral high ground.

Bernie being a sore loser is not surprising. All tales are about him being a guy who doesn't like people disagreeing with his views. He is just an asshole.

Yeah, I don't really expect a Bernie endorsement anyway, but even if he does, it won't carry any meaning with many of his supporters. He has spent so long lambasting Hillary and the DNC as corrupt establishment forces that have rigged the game against him, and has drilled this into his supporters' brains for months and months. How can he now turn around and say, vote Hillary for president? He'd lose credibility with the people he's been giving his stump speech to this whole time. It'd carry no weight.

If the democrats could stop the infighting, let Hillary focus on the general and delivering good downticket results to secure a healthy margin in the senate, then and only then will you see progress for liberal causes. Hillary will without a doubt go as far left as she can once she's in office.
