I cant remember the last time I used those buttons on my PS4 though... just use the Dualshock controller.
nope awful desing all the way huge downgrade compareed to the 2 previous ps design slilm.
the first ps3 slim doesn"t re-use the wonderful OG ps3 desgin.
but the first ps3 slim was way slimmer compared to that ugly box

I wasn't even on here during the original slim's leak so I can't say, but to the people's defence, the super slim is way to ugly for it to be real.
However since some of us learned our lesson, and concluded that this PS4 slim is real, and seems like we are right this time.
Because they're in front of the disc drive?
Or is it too difficult to move your finger away in four seconds? Remember there's a beep and a several second pause before the disc actually comes out. And it's not as if it's moving at a high velocity.

Surely they would not go for the same crappy cooling solution as the ps4 had.....will wait until they show the insides but if its the same side vents and blow hot out rear through the psu....its gonna be a noisy little tacker again
The side vents do not provide enough intake of airflow.....to keep the ps4 quite you need almost direct access to the cpu fan

Furthermore the bar code sticker behind is stuck on another awkward spot, that slows down the production line.

If that cover is a separate piece of plastic then that code bar sticker would probably be applied before final assembly, meaning no slowdown in production. The shape of the unit would allow the barcode to be clearly visible to a scanner on the way to packing.
that would be so dumb if they never do it. It's one of the biggest reasons using an xbox one has got so much easier and more convenient. I love just unplugging my drive and going over to a buddies house to sign in there. It's like carrying an entire library of discs over to play video games except now its just a little box with one disc inside of it. Plug it in, login to xbox live and done
