You probably shouldn't tune in. That seems to be a central part of the show in general.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still interested in the show regardless and I'm still tuning in.

I guess I was just disappointed in last year when half the focus was solely VR and the crap games for it like the robot golf thing.

I hope we get to see something from Housemarque - Matterfall or that project with Eugene Jarvis (or both).

Yes. Really want that Matterfall. In my head it plays like a 2D 60 fps Vanquish and I can't wait to see more of it.

That and some FROM news, any FROM news, would be enough for me. Though I'll happpily take Spider-Man gameplay.

Just any WipEout would be fine by me, honestly. That said a native 4K WipEout HD (for Pro) sounds particularly good! Any VR features welcome. Of course, a new game would be the absolute best but small miracles first.

I'm sure Sony is learning. 1st year was soft. 2nd year had was inconsistent with strong announcements to not as strong. Hopefully this time, they implement what they learn with E3 and make it consistent with the announcements that will resonate with core fans despite its popularity.

I mean, 3rd times the charm right?

It's not supposed to be a e3 tho. The conference isn't the main drawn. The panel's and being able to play games is. I'm never going to expect a monster conference from this show

I'm not saying we're getting E3 levels of announcements. I'm saying well be getting smaller scale yet will resonate with core fans.

O yea definitely than. Feel like psx is a way to give shine to those smaller titles without getting lost in the scuffle of the big dogs but at the same time they're games that will resonate with a certain group. Ace combat and ni no kuni being announced there is a perfect example of that

Proper Wipeout VR would get me back to being excited about the future of the platform.

So long as they don't chicken out like Track Mania did and put effort into it.

This year there was no Paris Game Show so they saved some announcements from there to PSX

I really don't want Kojima to get stage time to announce what fuckin engine he is using. Pls go dark for a few years.

Any bets on what they will end the show with? I'm thinking something like:

1. New Destiny weapon skins exclusively to Playstation Nation
2. Early beta access to Ghost Recon Wildlands
3. The first game in their mobile push

Maybr Kojima will announce on a panel and not on the keynote itself. I would rather see that

And their mobile push is for Japan, doubt that will be talked there

Hype train

Hype trains are not really allowed/recomended anymore so here is Shuhei surfing on a PS4 Pro while wearing PSVR then

Needs 100% more "MEGATON!!"'s to be worth it. Last year was a bit...meh. We'll see, hopefully they'll have some nice stuff for us! :)

What I want:

Spider-Man gameplay demo or trailer with a 2017 release date
Crash Bandicoot remaster gameplay trailer
Dreams new trailer with beta announcement
Some good indies
An AAA game announcement (I want something from Naughty Dog, but I don't think we will get something from them expect that Uncharted 4 DLC)

I will be happy with those.

I think PSX could be stronger this year for that reason.

Here's hoping for a lot of first party updates or announcements, some second party stuff and very, very little third party stuff. The way PSX should be imo!

Or PSX could be weaker this year because they want to save megaton to combat Scorpio and Switch at next E3.
