Nah I'm not saying he's innocent. He's anything but. I was just thinking about how the fuck he came into this line of thinking being the son of two nonwhite immigrants. Him going so knee-deep into it is definitely past innocence. I just feel like he's become such a shitty person because was too plain stupid and ignorant too look at fucking facts or listen to other people. Everything he said in this interview just came across as extremely stupid to me. Like he had no actual idea of what he was even talking about. He's too stupid to look at things from another perspective and too stupid to properly back himself up. It was one of the biggest displays of stupidity I've ever seen.

Honestly, I think it's less a matter of being stupid and more a matter of simply not caring about anything outside of himself. Neither other people nor reality. He likes his positions and no one's changing that. If the facts happen to line up with them, whatever, but if he's questioned he'll just keep saying stuff until maybe people agree with him somehow.

Even if it's not, I feel like it's disingenuous to call it an alt-right podcast. She was introduced through a mutual friend, Asterios Kokkinos, who is a big part of the Dick Show and is pretty far left, constantly arguing with Dick over politics. A big part of the guests on his show are people that disagree with the general ideas he presents - liberals, mostly - and Dick definitely isn't made to be the smart one most of the time. And as for the fanbase, there are a lot of trump guys for whatever reason, but the response to Mike Cernovich being on his show was pretty much the biggest backlash I've seen.

JonTron, though, man, I feel like you could take reasonable approaches with some of the stuff on paper but watching the debate it's pretty damn clear he's in the wrong and might genuinely lean racist.

I think the "immigration destroying culture" thing doesn't apply to America, a nation of immigrants, as an America. But I also think that you're not racist if you make the same case for european nations, even if the decisions and reasoning that come from that are often not good choices...But I also don't really have a strong opinion, since, yknow, I'm not european.

Would America ever have a cultural solidity to make that argument though? It's an interesting point to think about.

- Immigrants are destroying every single country they are let into

And Destiny didn't even fucking ask the most obvious fuckin' question: "If you're so concerned about immigrants, why do you keep bringing up blacks?"

I do think it's good that it's coming out, because the Trump presidency has opened my eyes to how prevalent these views are among young people.
