I feel the complete opposite, Earth was so boring in D1, while places like The Reef, Mercury and Venus were far more interesting.
I really enjoyed the zones from the original game, I'd be a little disappointed if it was just Earth and 3 moons. I'd even take different zones on planets like Venus and Mars.
Left this thread with a sense of optimism last night. Now everyone seems to be bummed.
Fuck happened?
I guess that chances of PC footage coming out of this event are close to zero.
It will probably all be on PS4 Pro, like how we know from a PS Blog post from last night that hands-on for those attending the event will be on PS4 Pro.
The 1 hour pre-stream, is that in 2 or 3 hours?
Wrong, streamers have stated clearly they are allowed to play and record footage of both versions, PS4 and PC.
Yeah, I'm assuming the moons are not going to look the same, nor like regular moons.Somebody has to explain to me what the difference of a moon and a planet is in the context of Destiny.
No YouTube links?

There are no differences. Just additional locations.
Fresh take: no matter what they reveal, this board will be full of disappointment and concern.
Fresher take: like Destiny, Destiny 2 will be an extremely fun game regardless of what subclasses or planets we have.
yeah, but nothing keeps Bungie from pulling a "hey, PC version isnt solid yet, PS4 Pro only for now". But we'll see, I hope its there, or at least gets some attention through either the reveal, or post-reveal by the people present.
We're still going to see PC footage during the stream at least right?
I wouldnt count on it.
They probably want people talking about Destiny 2, not the differences in performance across the platforms, at the reveal. Bummer for those interested in the PC version, but it will surely be in display later on.
We're allowed to talk about the PC version as much as we want - and believe me, I will. Campaign, PvP, Strikes for PS4/PC are all playable.
If the 30fps leak is real, D2 will be the only console shooter in 2017 running at that framerate.
Battlefield, CoD, Battlefront, Titanfall 2, Gears of War 4, Uncharted 4, Halo 5, EVERYONE is 60fps...
And don't give me the "open world" excuse, Destiny has never been a true open world game.
I would've been ok with 1080p/30fps for campaign/pve and 900p/60fps for pvp. Other games on console are doing that, c'mon Bungo!!!
They're allowed to talk about PC version but not to show it.

I don't know if it will be on stream, but apparently folks at the event can capture PC footage to share.
What about Prey, Dishonored, and Far Cry?
