Whats incredible about it?
The phone app coming this summer 2017 is another buried lede. It's likely to be there alongside either ARMS or Splatoon 2.
The phone app thing is incredible, surreal that such a big company is doing that in 2018.
wait so we dont get voice chat till 2018?
I still want to see more details on the lobby integration between the smartphone and switch. Does it start a game automatically for me with the desired people right from the phone?
But one convenience of the app is that it's far easier to do text chat on your phone compared to your console, and probably even the switch in handheld mode.
Nintendo is the one that needs to take notes. Sony and Microsoft can justify the $60. Nintendo online doesn't have much to justify more than $20.
Are you in a hurry to pay 20 dollars?$20 a year....I'll take it....
2018 though? Damn....
How is it more convenient? Switch has touch screen typing.
Sounds like you and alot of you are trying to jedi mind trick yourself into this being a good idea... All i can see is... Yo dragon lets go over here to attack... Ring ring... Dragon are you there? Oh I'm sorry had a call.. Well gee thanks.. We just got destroyed while you took your call.
I believe the services will still launch this year as it says they'll be free until 2018. Not that they won't be available until 2018.
Price is right. Hope they add cloud saves.
Glad they're waiting until next year to make it a paid service.
If you want to compare to PC then almost nothing is acceptable.Totally lame feature set. They didn't go the extra mile so I'm less likely to pay for online.
I know most of you guys find this price acceptable but compared to pc gaming options this is hard to accept.
Incredible in the sense that it's baffling.
What about cloud saves.
$20 to improve Nintendo's online functions is fine.Well you can play Splatoon 2 Online.
I still can't believe they are making you work it through your fucking phone.
It's so weird to have online play be free for essentially the first year of a console, then to charge for it later. I'm not complaining... but why not have online play be free forever, and have the $4 a month be just for the games/discounts.
Nintendo is the one that needs to take notes. Sony and Microsoft can justify the $60. Nintendo online doesn't have much to justify more than $20.
Ever touch typed on a larger tablet?
"Nintendo Switch Online includes ongoing access to a library of classic games you can take anywhere!"
That straight up sounds like a Netflix style VC service.
Are you in a hurry to pay 20 dollars?
Oh yeah, I guess a rotating library is another option. Seems like the most likely too, unfortunately.I wouldn't read too much into the Classic Games being any sort of Netflix like service. It's probably still a rotating offer of free shit for each month. If they were offering VC as a full library service, it will NOT be 20 bucks a year.
Yep I'd rather type on the switch if i dont have to use my phone to voice chat
Want to know more about this Classic Game Selection, is it where you will get one game a month like stated previously?
Its free until then
