I hope everyone buys these to show Nintendo that making something cheaper doesn't mean they will make less profit from it. I've always envisioned a VC setup somewhere along the lines of NES games being 99cents-1.99 SNES being 2.50-4.00 N64 being 8 dollars and eventually gamecube being 12-15

This would probably start making Nintendo do a Nintendo Premium yearly subscription. Certain games $0.30 per month + Digital Premium Benefit (10% back; Black WiiUs are grandfathered in for free for having to deal with the game shortage) + 50 Club Nintendo Coins + Exclusive Club Nintendo Surveys + one free cheap game per month or one free good game per year for $50/year.
I know. My point is why should we use Miiverse as intended when we can't play these games as intended.

You can complan all you want, but it's going to fall on deaf ears. 50hz vs 60hz is unfortunately a niche, enthusiast thing and Nintendo and Sony have already made up their minds about it.
I just think it's a waste for this to be dominating the Virtual Console discussion over the actual games when this shit was established more than half a decade ago.
It won't be up until Thursday. Nintendo's update are consistent unlike Sony's Grace Chen.

Just put out everything that is already on the Wii VC for fuck's sake Nintendo.
And before the predictable "bubububu u can still play those gaems in wii mode dur dur", the aspect ratio is fucked in Wii mode thanks to the HD upscaling and cropping preventing us from getting a proper 4:3 aspect ratio on those games.

This is just a trial period before the real launch. We don't yet know how fast titles will come then. (Though I do imagine it will be just as slow as the Wii and 3DS, because Nintendo)

If these games have to be rerated by the ESRB again then blame then for the slow releases across every platform this gen. If not than I really don't know what the hell Nintendo is doing. Seriously though Nintendo and Sony should just pull an Apple and completely ignore the ESRB for stuff like the VC.

This shit may have been established more than half a decade ago, but we'll have to bare with it for the next 50 years or more, if no one complains.
At least with the PS3 you could always buy the games from the US store(like I did). No such option for the Wii U.
If they feel the 50hz issue costs them enough sales, they'll at least give us the option to buy the 60hz. Nintendo made the VC to make money, not to just be mean to us Europeans. (I hope)
