I won't say which store this is, but they have landed in the GTA (for you living in the area)...

PS4 has the weirdest game system box i've ever seen in my life. Why is it so big, long, and thin? It looks so unusual.

Maximizing the number of units you can fit in a fixed volume makes sense for all kinds of reasons. I think the box shows attention to detail we don't normally get at launch. I don't think the supposed stock room photo here is real, though. You can see the front of the box tapering from the right side of the photo back to the right, which means we should be able to see the side of the box on the right. It could be photoshopped, or it could the front panel of a display box, but it doesn't seem likely that it actually contains a PS4 at this point.

Sweet! Does anyone know if it's dual voltage like the PS3?

I'll be around the Bay Area on launch day and hope to be lucky enough to grab one and take it back to EU. Cheaper and faster.

Yeah it's dual voltage. I'm in LA now and going back to the EU tomorrow, pretty sad I can't take a PS4 with me. Atleast I got a Dualshock4 and Killzone.

I'm seriously confused on what I should be doing. Save up a lot to rebuild a totally new PC + wait for better parts and price drops, or just go ahead and get down with PS4 right now.

Darn this hype + the PC market with their constant price fluctuations and hardware injections. Mantle vs G-sync? Then I play my modded Skyrim and it's 20-30fps, making me want to just get a video card, but if I do that I probably need to get the motherboard and cpu, what about the psu.. I should wait on PC.

I need to stay out of this thread. :(

Just paid off my amazon pre-order using customer support and a gift card.

Heres how the conversation ended:

I'm on mobile and can't find the link, but I was pretty sure. But don't take my word for it, I'd hate to be wrong and fuck somebody over.

You don't need to be empathetic towards me.
PS4 = paid off, BF4 = paid off, Killzone = paid off. Thursday night(Friday morning), 12:01am can't come soon enough.

Nah I'm pretty sure the FCC rating was 100v-240v and obviously I will check but if it says on box than woo! Makes life much easier. Obviously I would check it as I did with my Vita before plugging it in.

looks like walmart. dear god. wonder if i can get my friends working at my walmart to price match the target deal and set me a console aside incase amazon fucks my order up and doesnt send it until next week

Having a friend who can set one aside for you feels great man.

My brother works at target and is setting one aside for me. No pre-order worries for me.

My goodness I can't wait until I unleash this sexy beast into my house. The feel of opening a new console is unrivaled. I last did it almost 4 years ago with the PS3 and now another moment is coming close.

god damn

I need to stay out of this thread. It's making time go even slower.

Piling them a little high, aren't they? Putting that much weight on the systems at the very bottom doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

With pallets like that, I'm pretty sure they're usually saran wrapped a bunch to keep them together during transport. The employees will probably take them off to shelve later.
