Who the hell gave this game GOTY?
BAFTA did IIRC.
Which is surprising as that's voted on by devs.

So many lies in so few sentences.
Who the hell gave this game GOTY?
But Todd Howard said it was a quality product. Are you calling him a liar?
Where is the lie?

every choice is yours
Also the game is not ambitious. It's derivative and mediocre in nearly every single way.
People really don't understand the general perception of bethesda games outside of their internet bubbles, do they?
Nope, I do. I understand these games sell very well, like how Assassins Creed sells very well while still being bad.

It was my 2015 GOTY. I did, and still do, think it's a great game.
This year is absolutely packed with amazing games. Why the fuck would someone play FO4 now?
Won the second most GOTY awards in 2015. More than Bloodborne.
Same here.
I dropped 150 hours in 2017 alone.
Game has incredible legs.
LOL at the haters.

I would guess the graphical enhancements will be included in an update that's coming out in same time for everyone, right?
Can't see it only being for the GOTY.

People dont read OP #4,200,500It says so right in the OP.
They're just referring to the Pro patch.
I think it's a good game, but over Witcher 3, Bloodborne or even MGSV? Nah. I should still play the DLC's. Bummed that I have to buy the game again, if I want to play the VR version someday :/
Cool, is the DLC good? Or a mixed bag?
If anyone is considering it.... I do NOT recommend the Pip-Boy edition.
I was extremely excited to have got a pre-order in on Amazon before they sold out, once I opened the package and held it, I realized it was a plastic hunk of crap, no better than a McDonalds Happy meal toy.
Also Jim Sterling gave it 9.5. Never forget.

*quietly raises hand* I've been putting time into my old save over the past few weeks, randomly went to it off the backlog one day and will probably finish it soon. This year is absolutely packed with amazing games. Why the fuck would someone play FO4 now?
Far Harbor is probably the best of the bunch, the rest is mostly workshop garbage so depending on how much that appeals to you YMMV. Nuka World is a bunch of shitty combat encounters/collection quests scattered over a kind of OK looking map. And there's a really fucking stupid Fallout 2 callback included.
Far Harbor is probably the only one that is a true expansion and is really good. Only one quest in it is a real blunder, but that's about it.
Automatron offers a cool little questline but its short-lived. The rest of the focus is on the robot building.
All of the workshop DLC is focused entirely on settlements but they each focus on their own gimmick that you may or may not be interested in even if you are fond of the settlement building. Although some of them still offer some cool stuff to build with on the side. For example, the Wasteland Workshop gives you concrete structures to build with.
Nuka World offers a new cool environment to explore, but it eventually ends up focusing on settlement building but as a raider. Very mixed.
Overall, uh, Far Harbor is really good? Fallout 4's DLC is definitely some of Bethesda's weakest. Too much of it is focused on offering one single gimmick and not content that can just appeal to everyone.
If anyone is considering it.... I do NOT recommend the Pip-Boy edition.
