I hope they can do both things without much difference because going from stealth to combat to stealth again is something that happen in ac games and i don't wanna be limited to only one playstyle per character, i want the flexibility to do both.

How does the double character work? Do you chose at the beginning like odissey or you use one or the other depend on the mission or a gta5 switch?

No dude i'm talking about normal gameplay outside of story missions, if i assault a camp i wanna be able to do what i did in the past games without switching a character.

It would be moronic to limit only one gameplay style to one character, what if i don't wanna use the chick but i still wanna do some stealth? can i only play the entire game as an action game with yusuke? Fuck that.

Naoe can fight obviously but her fighting style isnt going to be the same as Yusukes.

I take it what you are worried about is, for when stealth fails you want to be able to quickly revert to the tank class and just beat everyone up?

Bernardougf has a point. I fought a Mudusa in Assassin's Creed. The series has a ton of fantasy and sci-fi elements. The historical stuff is also so outlandish that it might as well be fantasy like Nioh.

However, does it matter if it is fantasy? If a developer was making a game set in a fantasy West Africa, would it be okay to make the protagonist white? It would be fantasy after all. Serious question as well .

This is just a curiosity, but historical Ninjas or Shinobi were just spies.
They could be anyone, from a gardener, a geisha or even a samurai.
What they rarely did was go around sneaking in the shadows, jumping roofs and murdering people.
What they actually did was to spy on an enemy Daimio. Then relay that information.
There was the occasional murder, but thar was relatively rare, as he objective was to gather information.

It's funny that both in the west and the east, around the mid XX century, spies have been made so over the top.
In the west with things like James Bond and in the east, with Ninjas.

Ive read enough about Yosuke to over the last two days to know....no one "knows" what the fuck they are talking about, so if they say hes a Samurai in this game, ill take it his a Samurai in this game.


He is the tank character so he isnt going to be doing the blending into the crowd thing............which modern games havent used either(sans Mirage), he plays closer to the modern games and Naoe plays like the classic games.
If the token black character is half the story....dunno if you can call them token anymore.
I havent played through it so I dont know if he is a pandered in character, but token black character he most certainly is NOT.

I'm ok if yosuke can't stealth aswell as the chick, but he must be capable of some stealth, when you clear a camp or even during a mission, sometimes you get discovered but you wanna return to stealth to clear up some more enemies before going tank, or just because i'm in the mood for some stealth or in the mood for some action, i don't wanna constantly switch character.

If it is something like the girl having more stealth gadgets and hiding better between the crowd i'm ok with that, but i need at least the stealth basic functions for yosuke aswell, crouching, hiding into the grass, silent attacks from behind, a bow etc.

Yes, he wasn't a Samurai and was a retainer, but he wasn't a jester like you've made him out to be.

Regarding him fighting, he wasn't in the thick of battle because that wasn't his role, but there is a record of him fighting at the Honnō-ji Incident. According to our source, after the death of Nobunaga, Yasuke went to the residence of Nobunaga's son, Nobutada, and attacked the forces of Akechi Mitsuhide. Yasuke was convinced to stand down and was then sent back to the Jesuit missionaries.

This piece of information comes from a single source, the Portuguese missionary Luís Fróis, who was close to Oda Nobunaga. Although it's unclear if Fróis was an eye witness to this event, it's still a credible primary source and most likely a true event.

It's not a movement... its people noticing and criticizing. The fact you think these things are a "movement" kind of tells everyone where your head is at.

Just because people are seeing things that you can't doesn't mean they are riled up or astroturfed to do so.
