One of the best feelings is finding a backwards compatibility game you bought years ago during a sale (and forgot about) on the install list :D thanks past me for your impulse buying decisions

Well you're only the 4th or 5th poster that I've seen met a hacker. Maybe they are located close to your region so you keep getting matchmade with them?

There's only the V-sync input lag which is pretty minimal, I believe it's only a few frames out of 60 soooo...
The input delay was amplified for me personally when I had the game on my external HDD, but now on the internal everything feels much better.

Moving the game to the internal hdd made a big difference for me as well.

Now it's pondering spending the $45 on the rest of the DLC maps when I already own them on PS3.. choices!

When I pop my Black Ops disc into my XBone I get the error message 'This game is not playable here: For a list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One, go to xbox.com/BackCompat. (0x8082000c)

Any ideas why it won't let me play the game? I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.

Not certain, but maybe try making sure your console region is UK and if it already is, try setting your console region to the US? I had some issues with Mass Effect, but I'm pretty sure I corrected them either by changing regions or a hard reset - can't remember which one it was sorry

Black Ops is a complete mess in my opinion. Major input lag, can barely even reload. Have to double or triple press the reload button to reload. Aiming feels off too. That's a shame. Every game I played for three hours lagged badly too.

Runs fine for me, that's very strange. Have you got your TV set to 'game mode' ?

Alienfan's recommendation did the trick! I changed my region to US and then back to UK and the update is now installing, thanks for your help everyone!

Nothing is changed from my usual setup that is lag-free. It's only Black Ops.

This weekend I might try the game on 360 just to regain my sanity. Those were the worst three hours I've ever spent with the game. Between constant stuttering on top of the really bad input lag it was pretty unplayable. I wasn't expecting that at all.

Oh god, this has to happen! Xbox UK trolled me so hard this morning on twitter with this tweet ; of course it being early in the morning and me not reading it and just seeing RDR, I instantly thought OMG RDR on XB1 ... but then the tears :(

Lol all those comments about BC hehe.
I thought they would've saved Black Ops for a mid-conference announcement, coupled with Red Dead Redemption, that would have been a massive hype boost for E3 but I guess they got other bombas to announce then.

I own all on disc but wouldn't even be mad, it's nice being able to change game without changing the disc. I own 3 discs I play atm (Destiny, Horizon 2, Doom) and my lazy ass wants me to upgrade to digital if they go on sale.

Any rumors of Dishonored becoming bc? Just picked it up for $2.99 at Gamestop . Was thinking about getting Definitive Edition but read that the load times were worse. No thanks.
