The Last of Us: Remastered MP |OT| For the love of god please stop running.

Played my first supply raid on PS4 today. 13 kills and 5 deaths, our team wins with reinforcement to spare. I was especially shocked because the 3-4 matches I played on the PS3 version, I was garbage.

Maybe it's the 60fps or maybe the other team was just unorganized, looking forward to playing some more and finding out.

I'm doing way better with 60FPS, personally. My aiming in the SP seems much improved too. I guess some of it might have to do with the DS4 as well.

It was hard for me to adjust to L2 and R2 to aim and shoot but after a few days it grew on me. I use my middle fingers for L2 and R2 while my right index finger is almost always hovering above R1 for Listen Mode/Shoulder Switch. Kinda feels like i'm clawing my controller.

I was not a fan of the MP on PS3, but the 1080p and 60fps definitely makes this enjoyable. Still, there's a number of issues that need to be addressed, with matchmaking being the the primary problem.

I really wish developers would stop trying to hide the total online population and just display it like CoD games do.

Yeah this would be nice gears, cod and halo do a good job at this.

So guys what preset is best? Currently going stealth as I've pretty much aced headshots with the bow and I like that I can't be marked or listened to when crouching.

So I test out my mic in the system settings and it all seems fine. I get into a game and I'm getting no feedback or confirmation that anyone can hear my voice. Is there something I need to do especially or are people just ignoring me?

I haven't had near as many problems finding games as some of you have so far.. until now (the 1.01.010 patch). Been going between playlists, tried parties and parties not allowed, etc. Still nothing for almost 30 minutes now.

Just finished tonight with 79 survivors no one hungry and no one sick, this is better than Christmas haha

Fuck it I'm going for the skull mask.

I'm also going for the Skull Mask, currently on week 11, day 4 and I have 135 survivors, all healthy. But I've got 2 100% threats coming up, stressful. I managed on PS3, ended with 86 I think so hopefully I can pull it off again.

I think you need 107 after the last match, and fully complete the final mission so you only lose 20%. That will leave you with 85.

Fucking awesome time on this. Just a big ol shame about matchmaking me my buddy can only manage to get into interrogation not bad but want to play other two modes. Hopefully gets fixed soon.

So the last update seems to have made matchmaking much better.

But now lag to the other clients seems to have exponentially increased as well.

I take it this was the inevitable open up the matchmaking to poor clients with tin can and string ISP's so they can get in a game and stop bitching?.

This is why we can't have nice things (on consoles)

Made it through my first week with 39 healthy survivors... Goddamn this game is tense.

I'm starting to be pretty decent at this game, so if anyone's looking for party members, shoot me a request:

120 Survivors. YES!

I didn't think I could do it again after doing it on PS3, especially after they nerfed the Collector skill.

All that tension is just gone. It's fantastic.

I know this is lame, but is there a fail safe in case I get to week 12 and my 100% mission isn't going well... can I like sign out of PSN or something?

There is a big difference between the Destiny alpha (not even beta, free) and the TLOUR MP (paid game) in the matchmaking.
ND do something, make it work.

Yeah, it's nice not caring about survivors and just keeping the bare minimum to get through the journey.

But that's kind of shitty. Most times when you encounter an enemy you have mostly even chance of taking then out depending on skill. If they have a purchaseable, you are already dead.

I get the downsides to them, I'm just not a big fan of the mechanic.

Not even. I don't use purchasables. I don't worry about other players having them. Sure they can be strong but you can buy armor. The spawn weapons are plenty good at downing enemies. By the way, I have noticed that if you spot someone with a shotgun your character yells 'shotgun' or something like that. This helps you evaluate the situation and stay back.

I believe the game does indeed not count the day if you 'dashboard'. When I've rage quit due to lag, no progression happens.

Would abusing it to reset a bad match make you a shitty person? Nah, you're surviving.

If they're wielding the Shotgun at the moment, yes, it's called out. If not, it won't be called out. They also won't be called out if they're using Covert Training 3. Makes for some rather amusing moments when you run into them the first time in Survivors (I suppose Supply Raid would aslo apply), then later facepalm-worthy ones when you run into them again and rush them without checking their nametag. (This happens to me a lot more than I'd care to admit. >.>)

Armor helps against the Shotgun, but just a bit. It fires surprisingly quickly despite it being pump-action. I swear it fires faster than the Semi-Auto Rifle, destroying your armor and then you in a split second. lol Armor, last I checked, doesn't protect your legs either. In other words, if you're in close range to a Shotgun user, you're screwed. It's the undisputed king of its effective range. You'll stand a chance against every other weapon in their range or even close range as you get a little time to react.
