Yahoo. It sounds like what a lot of people want, I don't need everyone's email to invite them, and if nothing else we will have experience with ESPN and Yahoo and we can make a more educated choice between the two next year (or go CBS :p)

Good to see all these familiar faces. We still have room for a handful (or so) of new members in GJL3, come on somebody step up!

Edit: reminder to check the OP, I'll update stuff there as well rather than making a new post every time I edit it.

Looks like there's 3 slots left, 1 in each league.

How are you going about who gets placed in JL1 and JL2 open slots? Take someone from the lower leagues? How would you determine that?

Hope the league is up today so I can see who's in my division and choose a team name/logo/etc. Will the draft order be set today too? So I can get started on some proper mocks.

It also looks like there is 2 people in JL2 that haven't responded. That would make 4 open slots in the top 2 tiers. And you have 4 people in JL3 that participated last year while the rest are new. If those other 2 in JL2 don't respond...you could just move all of the 4 returners in JL3 into JL2 providing you move someone from JL2 into JL1.

Yeah it looks like there's one slot open in GJLP, 4-5 in GJL2 (depending on SuicideUzi), and 3 in GJL3. And I'd definitely like to find out our draft position asap if possible

Hey Arkos, if a spot opens up in GL2 and you need a filler, I have a non gaffer that has a lot of FF experience and I can vouch for. he'd be active and is a legit honest player. I was in his work league for 4 years but he recently quit that job and is looking for a league to join. If you could use him let me know I'll get you his email.

Someone who wasn't in the league last year gets to bypass those in JL3? Don't think so buddy. If you want...you can move down to JL3 to play with your friend.

Boom, okay I'll go with it. He would have to join GJL3 of course, but if he wants to we could do that. This is on you and your stupid Houston mascot if he's no good though. PM me the email if he's interested.

Everybody, when you join the league please either a) post your team name here or b) include your GAF name in your Yahoo info somewhere. For example, I am the Stupendous Men. If nothing else, I have to keep track of this stuff to maintain the league's awesomeness. I'm also sure that we all want to know who we're playing each week.

You have to not only be a member, you have to be a GAF Gold member. But in your case, I'll make an exception. :p

Edit: what you have to do is play the whole season. If you can do that then okay.

May be starting grad school this fall but I keep better track of football than I do my own well-being so I don't think there's anything to worry about

I dunno, I prefer snake but I've also never done auction. What does everybody else think?

We could also potentially do small things like this (or waiver or trade settings) differently by league, depending on what the members of each league want, to try to figure out what works best for everybody. I would not be opposed to relatively small differences between the leagues such as that.

Auctions are a class of their own. COMPLETELY different draft strategy from before. I'd say we bring it up next year if everyone wants it, but that may be too big of a change to do this year. That's like randomly deciding to change to a keeper league

Also I think we'll keep snake drafts this year unless more people speak up in favor of auction.
