The snow map in 20v20 is the opposite of empty. And of course a beta with most of the modes locked is going to be repetitive.

They really need to nerf this annoying DF-9 Turrets... getting one hit killed is annoying.
And IMO there needs to be a Rocketlauncher starcard. Something to fight against vehicles all the time.

Whenever I get slightly ambivalent about this game, I see something fucking cool like this and I'm hyped again.
Ahh, so THAT'S what the square prompt is for. I must have always pressed it at the wrong time and then thought "wait, this is slower than just waiting for the gun to cool down."
What is the visual indication of when to press?

There probably is something like that. I know you can pick one up in the wild at least. Maybe the grenade launcher would suffice.

when you're completely overheated you'll see the red semi-circle filled with 2 yellow parts on each side...time the button press when it reaches the yellow for the instant cool down

The Ion Torpedo in the base game (its only in Survival in the beta) will do this. Takes about half the health of the AT-ST in Survival.

You can switch freely, except for when controlling a hero. That's in 3rd person.

None on PS4 for me, even with my crappy ping and rural DSL.
Just played some with my virtual 5.1 headset and my god it sounds amazing.
There seems to be some sort of region lock. (?) I was playing on PC, couldnt find any matches (I live in Brazil). Turned on my VPN with a US address and got almost instantly into one.
Anyways, I had fun for about 30/40 min, but I dunno, something feels off. Maybe its the shooting, the pacing. Maybe it just isnt for me.

Yeah, played one game each of assault and drop zone and it was smooth for me. There was a small hiccup or two but that was it.

Loving how this game feels so far. I don't think I've felt this refreshed by an FPS since CoD4's beta.
Playing on PC and the framerate is butter smooth. I have everything cranked up to ultra and FXAA on high on my 970 right now, but I'll see how that holds up. Might have to drop some stuff down to high.
