Is this game really beloved or something? Never played it.
It's the best version of Tetris on this generation of consoles, one of the other best puzzle games in Puyo Puyo, and some fun variants that mix the two. If you love Tetris, give it a shot. If nothing else clicks you have a good version of Tetris as opposed to the abomination Ubisoft put out a couple years back.Is this game really beloved or something? Never played it.
WTF, no Vita?

Will you be able to play with other regions? I'm double if not triple dipping, but it would be nice to polish the trophies for the import version off and more online players would certainly help.
ahahahaha
if they didn't bring the Xbox One version over, what makes you think they'd do the Vita
Again, I would LIKE to get the Switch version but I'm probably going to get the PS4 version because of Share (gameplay video capture).
Edit
Just read PS4 version is Physical only, sooooo Switch it is... :|
Switch actually has sharing features, we don't know the extent yet though!

From what I caught of the presentation, screenshot taking will be ready on day 1, but not gameplay videos. Maybe that is inaccurate (hope so).

I'd argue that the Vita version would sell just as much if not more than the X1 version. There might not be a lot of Vitas in the wild but this is a really niche game that lends itself well to portable systems. I'd probably double dip if it released over here.

I would definitely recommend 3DS Puyo Tetris to anyone considering it, it's a great example of a bespoke version of a multiplatform game built for specialised hardware. They didn't just shrink down the console image to a smaller upper screen, instead everything about the game was rethought and redesigned around the dual screens, right down to the menus and interface, and it feels really special as a result.
And the 3D is phenomenal, as the visuals are actually rendered in 3D space, rather than as fixed layers. Big Bang mode looks a treat.
Nice. Going to download this for sure.
Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!
"Allegedly"
Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)
Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.
You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM
Also:
Ubisoft. EA had the license last generation. A lot of the EA licenses went to Ubisoft. Tetris and practically anything based on Hasbro properties (i.e. Monopoly, Risk, Boggle, etc.)
Not sure how much it helps, but Vita was 973MB while PS3 was 2.4GB. I have no idea how big the Wii U version was (I doubt the 3DS version is worth comparing to).Anyone know the download size of this game? Seems like a game I'd always want to have on the Switch.
But I wonder if the Switch version allows for online play with 3DS/Wii U players.
The Switch version is probably based on the PS4/XB1 rebalance, so unless the older versions are getting patched, I doubt it.
Did anyone in here import the PS4 and Vita Version from Japan? I am wondering whether there is a cross save feature between those 2 versions. I want to buy both versions, but if there is no Cross save feature I might get the localized PS4 version and the JP Vita version.
It would be interesting if the JP version on PS4 plays in English based on your System settings.
It should, I believe all Switch games are designed to be played equally whether in dock, tabletop, or handheld modeI wonder if the game supports 4 plqyers in tablet mode?
It doesn't.

Does anyone know how the vita version is. If I import it can it be set to english or is it atleast simple to understand the menus (and no rp elements with loads of texts)?
I think Mario Kart 8 is limited to 2 players in splitscreen on the tablet. It should, I believe all Switch games are designed to be played equally whether in dock, tabletop, or handheld mode
Nah, they're actually a little different.
What do you mean with "different"?
Like, the DLC isn't included in the Vita version etc. menu selection is difference too. Gameplay should be exactly the same though.
AFAIK, gameplay actually isn't the same.
This game had two releases in Japan. The first was on PS3/Vita/WiiU/3DS, and the second was on PS4/XB1.
The second release reportedly rebalanced how garbage functions in Puyo vs. Tetris.
Source? Very interested in this as well.Confirmation: there is a 4P mode on the tablet. This is tiny, yet big news to me.

Reminds me of playing Goldeneye 4-player on a 14" tube TV.
