Look at Swift deaths above. Make no mistake the Xbox One has issues but so does the PS4. It seems like the PS4 problems get brushed aside for the most part.
I will be getting both consoles so I have no bias anyway.

I guess a lot of gamers are just tired of being lied to, used and abused from MS. first it was the DRM, then it was the paywall shit for everything on Xbox one. Then MS is saying there is no real power difference, lying once again, then the 720 vs 1080p hits the web, more evidence of a less powerful console. insiders hinting that there is some embargo on stuff that really is affecting the gamers, but gamers wont know until launch what it is.

That's not what that's been about at all. The issue is being forced to review games at a controlled event if you want to get a review out before launch. Traffic on reviews basically nosedives after launch day so it hurts companies who say no. And, apparently, the events are placing ridiculous restrictions on how you play the game as well as providing an optimal scenario for doing so which skews the review positively.
Imagine being forced to review Kinect games in a massive room with perfect lighting conditions. Not exactly representative of the final product for most people is it?

Movies are screened for film critics in perfect conditions. They even give them free food. It's not that different.
When you go see it yourself there's a chance of being in a shitty theater with no stadium seating, an old screen with a bad bulb, annoying crowd etc. The quality of the product is what counts.

No he didn't. Well, he summed up the lack of information well I guess. At the moment there is nothing that anyone will hang their hat on as being a problem, other than maybe Sessler bitching about a review event or something. I have no doubt there are issues, but nobody has been very clear on what they are supposed to be except some people are worried since they haven't turned on their network yet.

I read that earlier and you should read his other posts and liquidmetal's eexplanation. How can they be having online problems when the service hasn't gone live? Journalists skeptical doesn't mean problems but keep trying.

The point is since you brought up DVD vs Bluray. I don't care if the DVD player sings lullabies when I want to sleep. I want to watch my movies in crystal clear 1080p and that's all that matters.

Those type of events happen all the time, even more so at launch of a system where sony cant give every single website a debug unit.
As for all this i fear both may have bitten off more they can chew at launch, we are weeks away now and are hearing things like this it doesnt bode well for either.

I cancelled my Xbox One pre-order.
I took it one step further, after reading the posts about potentially negative PS4 news (the humanity), I cancelled that pre-order too.
I'm half expecting you Gaffers to get blown up come launch day. This hardware cannot be trusted.

They don't have any other choice. The PS4 isn't going to have Halo, Forza, or Quantum Break. It's a shitty situation, but there is nothing they can do about it if they want to play the games.It's too late for Microsoft to change up their hardware so there is no use of complaining constantly about it (not saying that you specifically are).

Okay, I think you misread me. I never said Sony had service problems. I said that journalists are worried about problems because they haven't seen the service working at all (just a paraphrase of thuway). Hope that clears things up!
