AlimNassor admitted to making false threads for attention. I wouldn't take him seriously ever. Also figures someone who craves attention would defend someone just like himself.
Please cite how you are aware that Martin, who in Poligaf you referred to as a "man", initiated contact with Zimmerman despite all accounts indicating he was attempt to flee from him. And despite Zimmerman's behavior sense then clearly indicating he has no issue assaulting other person without warrant.Seems pretty clear cut to me that it's not beyond a reasonable doubt that it wasn't self defence, which is what the jury had to decide on.
Is it self defence to physically attack someone who is following you around in an unpleasant, menacing and potentially provoking manner? No.
Is it self defence to shoot someone who is on top of you pounding your head with their fists, which has the very real potential to kill you within moments? Yes, regardless of how that situation came about.
Were the jury racist? Probably, considering some of the comments we heard from them afterwards, but they still came to the right conclusion in my opinion. Broken clock and so.
Just leave the guy alone. Who cares about his post history, he's not running for office or trying to act like he's morally superior to anyone else. Not everyone that gets 5 minutes of fame deserves a witch hunt.
If even that. These are posts you'd see and either roll your eyes or say "same" if you were in a shitposting mood. They don't really stand out at all.In the world of controversially disgusting internet comments, these are like a 3/10.
Yeah, the first clue was that he was an "undecided voter" at this late date in THIS election. Only a weirdo could claim that shit.

All this information and open communication on the internet, and we basically turn it into a cesspool of hot takes, memes, and digital vendettas against people we know fuck-all about.
The balance of good stuff to bad stuff is tipping towards bad, at least for me.
Yeah, the first clue was that he was an "undecided voter" at this late date in THIS election. Only a weirdo could claim that shit.
Which makes Gawker tearing him down after building him up even more hypocritical. Build him up as a meme at his expense (weight, look), and then tear him down as a "bad" human being...ffs.
Having a Reddit account would qualify him as a creepy weirdo without even going through post history
Right? How weird is that? Being undecided at this point is the same as being a bronie,IMO.
Lol. Knew that was coming.
"I saw her butthole, I liked it"
lolol

And I again find it odd that you evoke Zimmerman's right to self defense from another person's fists while ignoring that person's right to self defense from his gun, which has a far greater lethal potential.
I also wonder if anyone would castigate a woman for defending herself while walking home at night alone from an armed and dangerous stranger who was pursuing her by car and then on foot for unknown reasons.
Exactly.
If you compare the good/positive things K. Bone has said on his anonymous account to the "bad things", you'd quickly realize that he's a good/normal person. But no, let's crush this son of a bitch because he's an undecided voter, he looks at nude women on the internet, and he said one thing I don't really agree with.
This culture of trying to expose/ruin stranger's life's because you don't like something they said is fucked up beyond belief.
Spending 5 minutes on his Reddit account would show you that he's a normal, even somewhat left leaning dude. This is the left version of a 4chan "minority witch hunt"
It's hypocritical as fuck.
But hey 1 week from now no one else will care.
Except Ken Bone and his family.
Sigh.
Let's be honest - if he had said he was going to vote for Clinton during his AMA; I doubt Gawker even does this story. This turned into a leftist witch hunt because he hadn't chosen Clinton.
It's the left doing to someone what alt-right folks do to women and minorities, but it's A-OK this time because he's not in our tribe.
Has the gizmodo author responded in any way?Yep.
I'll just echo randi harper's thoughts on it
I swear some of yall are making this bigger than it is. A dude who became a meme did an ama on his reddit account he constantly uses. People can look at someone's posts. People can do the same on GAF. No one dug up anything, someone had a curiosity about if he posted in the past, he did. I mean, damn it ain't that fucking serious.

He is framed as seedy mainly for the phrase "I like her butthole" and admitting to committing a crime, a seedy thing. No one is targeting him, it's literally just "Interesting thing about a meme!", gets told to a media outlet, article is written, most people read it, chuckle, and move on.There was no need to "reveal facts" about a random person who became internet famous because he's a goofy looking fat guy with a funny name. Especially when the comments ("facts") were tame as fuck by anyone's standards when it comes to anonymous online accounts, and then to frame him as a shitty/seedy person? It's 100% bullshit.

Ken Bone is alright in my books.

Ken Bone is alright in my books.
Earlier today I participated in hypocrisy, as I am wont to do. I shared that shitty post about Ken Bone and his less than perfect posting history on Reddit. I was terribly wrong to do so.
At the time it seemed like a harmless idea; it doubled for a good joke and also a chance to numb my own perpetual insecurities by mocking someone I don't know even in the slightest. But as someone who has seen how horrible the Internet dogpile can be when it finds a person to shame or mock or ridicule, how it can utterly destroy a person's life, I can't believe I thought it was okay.
But that's what we do. We compartmentalize people and put them into boxes, because that's easier for us. Life is difficult enough as it is, so it makes us feel better to have people to love, people to hate, and so on. We reduce people into easy to process terms like good and bad, instead of the intensely complex creatures we really are.
And so we come to Ken Bone. He had the gall to ask a question at a debate which led to the Internet, the ever insatiable person consumption machine, to deify him into some sort of dorky hero. Of course, the only thing people love more than a hero is watching a hero fall. After a perusal of his Reddit history, sites cherry picked the worst stuff they could find and they had their next clickbait story.
Yes, he said and did some stuff that's less than admirable, lewd even. He's been discovered to have kinks and fetishes. But literally all of us, ALL OF US, are guilty of all those sins; we just have the good fortune to be able to remain anonymous nobodies. On a scale from "it's fucking nothing" to "heinous scandal", Bone's comments and actions barely register.
But trying to understand Bone, or anybody, in any shade of gray isn't something we seem to allow for. We'll gladly ignore him putting his iconic sweater up for auction for charity, or that in other Reddit comments he admirably defended a rape victim against some pretty horrible comments. That wouldn't compute for us since now we have to ostracize and hate him. He's either awesome or he's awful. Adorable or abhorrent. Hero or villain.
Less than a week after we put him on a pedestal we're ready to burn him at the stake. What the fuck, man? Who do we think we are? How do we think we're any better than him? How is this good for us or him?
It certainly can't be that great for him, or his family or friends or future employers or anyone he knows. Because now he's that guy. The weirdo. The gross geek.
It certainly can't be good for us either. We've essentially exiled the guy instead of trying to do anything constructive. Seriously, go through his Reddit history, tell me what you see other than an imperfect left-leaning Redditor. Instead of trying to be inclusive or help a potential ally be a better person, we'd rather publicly hang him and be done with him.
But the truth is.... He's you. He's me. He's us. And we hate him for his ugly traits because we hate that part of ourselves. We loathe those parts that are anything less than pristine or perfect, and he was the current easy target. In the process of grandstanding and feeling better about ourselves, we became the monster that we want him to be.
So though you'll never read this, I want to say I'm sorry for what part I took in the public execution of your character, Mr. Bone. For what it's worth I hope to do better from now on.
him being unable to decide between trump and hillary is more egregious than most of his comments (a notable exception being the comment where he attempts to defend george zimmerman)
fuck this guy

I mean he was an undecided vote, so not really surprised if a few comments are mildly un-PC
