And that's why it will remain forever on my HDD.
And there goes the idea of upgrading to a bigger one.
digital copies of metal gear games are next
Wasn't it already known they were pulling it?
Why would Konami stop people from playing this?
Backup, upgrade harddrive, restore, profit???
Wasn't it already known they were pulling it?
I hope that someday, somehow, someone can rip it onto PC so that everyone can get a chance to experience it.
Holy fuck no. This is disastrous. This is the biggest fear of those who are afraid of going fully digital. God, such a masterpiece like PT...thrown away. Disgusting.
This has nothing with the "digital future". Plus its a demo, that was free. Its not like you bought it, Konami removed it from PSN and removed it from being downloadable. If this was paid, there would be a bigger backlash. (although what Konami is doing in general is pissing everyone off)
Somewhat unrelated, but I haven't seen that guy that works at Konami on here for awhile now... lol
I fucking KNEW this shit would happen!
I fucking knew it.
This is going to be the rarest game of all time.
Pulling it yes. Not being able to dowload for past purchasers was just rumored that no one thought was real.
Do they actually do full backups now? I was under the impression they didn't.Yup, no worries when it comes to upgrading the HDD.
Just fired up the PS4 (Europe) and checked I had it. I'd deleted it already so I hit 'Download' on the icon and it seems to be downloading OK at the moment.
Fuck digital. Look forward to being fucked out of all your PSN/XBLA games in a few years.
Somewhat unrelated, but I haven't seen that guy that works at Konami on here for awhile now... lol
Lol, they'll just start claiming that games are a service and the courts will let them do whatever the fuck they want to.They're not gonna pull games you actually paid for. That would be a legal disaster. Calm down.
This is pretty bullshit though.
Mixed reports. How true is this?
Is this US Only?
You only purchase a license to use the content, a license the publisher controls
Incoming PS4 patch that deletes the game from the hard drive
