but GAF being GAF, it is wrapped around the axle on resolution. As if native 1080p is going to deliver a more enjoyable game than upscaled 1080p. I would say that XB1 and PS4 have enough power to deliver quality gaming. I'm interested in all the "heated seats" and "navigation" that adds to my enjoyment and I think that is what the media is trying to deliver to us as well.
Resolution is the first manifestation of a power gap we have, and its real. This power gap could be applied to AI, Lighting, NPCs on screen, multiplayer player count, voxels and particles and all kinda shit I dont even know about.
But, thats performance related, yes. If snapping to skype and movies in the middle of games, or snapping to skype or games in the middle of a movie is what you want, or talking to your xbox to change channels or get your fantasy football scores is, the xb1 is for you.
Each will provide a solid gaming experience, its just that its going to be hard to suggest the ps4 will ever deliver a lesser gaming experience.
Like JackFrags said, despite the ps4 being stronger, go where the experience you want it, or where your friends are going, cause thats what matters.
