XB1 Elite Controller ($150)

that new d-pad looks cool. reminds me a little of a saturn controller.

I will totally buy one if they fix those awful bumpers...

the new controller (the one that comes with the 1TB console) has new bumpers. I would assume they're fixed in this one too.

When this controller comes out, I may never buy a multiplatform game on PS4 again. I already don't like the DS4 for shooter games compared to the xbox one. Now this just blows the DS4 away.

I want color options, particularly white. (I expect some garish game tie-in versions).

curious about price and release date. I'm sure it will cost more than I want and be out later than I want, but will definitely pick one up once available (mainly so I can map all FPS to a central control scheme).

Paddle Jumper > Bumper Jumper, confirmed.

If the rubberized surface feels like the one that came with the "I made this" employee XB1 console, it's going to feel like glory in your hands.

I need to use it first to know, but if it is as good as it looks/sounds, I'll be doing the same. I'll even re-buy Destiny for Xbox One and level up a class and start playing the game on Xbox One for all future expansions.

Wow. Hats off to Microsoft. I'm a controller junkie so this is going to be a companion next to the original xbone controller I bought over a year ago.

I really like the look of the controller. That looks like something that might have cost $100m to design and create. ;)

Wait, is this the controller with an added headphone socket they announced a few days ago, or something else entirely? I'm confused.

The paddles pretty much make this THE PC Controller.

I always wanted paddles/side buttons on next gen controllers. No need to remove your thumbs off the sticks, and lots more input for PC mapping

Look at those options with analog sticks being concave and convex, really cool.

I just preordered 2 from Amazon.ca for $89.99.... I think that the price may go up.... It cant be that cheap? I just bought a Scuf with 4 paddles for $200 CND.

That looked pretty cool, I hope Sony also adds paddles on its controller.

This pretty much. It would totally change the way we could play FPS's on a controller. Being able to jump around and duck while not lifting your thumb off the right stick has always been a dream of mine. (of course I don't want to pay $150 for a custom controller with paddles, or I would have bought a scuf one during 360 days)

Apparently it has an Xbox One app that you can use to customize it further

Well, it's in the OP but here's a picture

I was actually thinking about this the other day, why don't they officially put buttons on the underside of the controller. This looks good. I wonder if Sony will do anything like this.

If this is cheaper than a Scuf and has decent reviews, I'll for sure pick one up for shooters. Glad I didn't spring for one a month ago like I wanted.

Really interested in how this turns out. Will wait for impressions before deciding whether to get this or the steam controller.

Looks like no, which is a good thing.

Rechargable, non-changeable batteries put a shelf life on every controller. It's best to get a pack of Eneloops.

I'd rather get a new controller every 5-10 years and have the convenience of micro USB charging. That's just my preference, though.

This is so damn cool. I wish there was an option to include this in an Xbone bundle instead of the standard controller when I get one. Goodness.

It's awesome that it seems to be more affordable than those custom controllers on the market today. I'd always wanted to try one, but they've typically been a little out of my price range.

They can replace A B X Y so you can keep your thumb on the stick

Oh. I thought they replaced the bumpers/triggers. And the DPAD thing, I thought it made it into a touch surface like the Steam controller.

I misunderstood this grossly.
