I can understand XII being stand-alone since it didn't have a console sequel and Revenant Wings probably wasn't seen as worth the effort considering it was a DS title and likely wouldn't transition well to a traditional controller (I don't know, never played it).
If they included XIII-2 and LR I might've maybe considered it since I still haven't played either of those. A solid pass as it is.

About a month and a half ago, disc 1 of my FF XIII set got rot on the inside of the disc, making it unplayable. Then, about 4 days later, the disc drive died in my 360. So I hope this does come to current gen systems.

It's probably nothing though, the title of the store page this was on is in Chinese so this is probably that Chinese-only cloud streaming version. It also wouldn't make sense for them to port only a single game, they'd bundle the games into a collection like they did with X/X-2.

Not very well. FFXIII had basically no leg in sales and FFXIII-2's launch took a nosedive. Keep in mind, though, FFXIII was the best selling PS3 game in Japan, and the gap between it and the second best selling game is huge, so there's still plenty of supporters.
Interesting thing is FFXIII-2 had a horrible launch but one of the longest legs in the series.
Again, Japanese gamers show better taste in JRPGs (well, except Nintendo fans there, they don't know shit about JRPGs).

In Japan? Probably not. All-Stars Battle Royale's problem wasn't necessarily a lack of Lightning.

I don't expect to hear anything about this til after FF12 comes out. I never beat 13 and never played the other 2 so maybe Ill get this when its cheap.

If the game didn't look like garbage on ps3 or run like total DOG shit on every console and computer I would've bought it. I just want a stable game that won't make my eyes bleed, but for companies like square I'm asking for the sun and moon.

LR has some really challenging bosses, if you jump around. Overall I'd say its the best game in the trilogy. FFXIII-2 needs a hard mode more desperately.

Run like dog shit? It has small drops to 28 fps, its not perfect but its far from dog shit. Also it looked really good for when it came out. The game deserves some criticism, but definitely not in these two categories.

I played 13 when it came out, and gave up on ps3.
I bought it on pc when it was ported, and beat it sometime in the last year (can't remember if it was late last year or early this year).
It's fine. Don't get the hate at all. They've made actual bad final fantasy games

I remember Square Enix or Famitsu doing a poll too awhile back for most popular female Final Fantasy characters and Lightning was #1 out of like 40 possible choices, beating out Yuna and Aerith.
