Curse those robots Ultron-Sigma, taking over the role of giant with face in the stomach, from hard working demons like Astaroth.

I was hoping the visuals in the initial reveal was due to the game being really early in development.....

Still looks like generic shit and it's coming out in 5 months?

Ugh.

I really, really, really hope people think twice before throwing Capcom $100 over this.

Remember... Capcom's last two fighting games were SFV and SFxT.

I would. Homecoming will have been and gone by the time this comes out so Marvel won't need to push a villain who likely won't be appearing in any further films.

If anything the characters will tie in to upcoming films and shows, like how we got Rocket, Dr Strange, Iron Fist and Hawkeye in UMVC3 years before some of them appeared in the MCU.

So maybe some Inhumans? Characters that will be in Infinity War? Black Panther seems likely. Whoever the villain in the upcoming Captain Marvel film will be?

Black panther could potentially play like x-23 me thinks

Art direction sucks ass. Who wants to play a fighting game that looks jet black? Don't you want to see the fighters, not hide them?

MvC and MvC2 had vivid colors. MvC3 was darker but at least they were trying to go for a comic book look with its shader.

But this is just dull and generic. You could slap a FPS logo on it and no one will notice.

I'm willing to give this game benefit of the doubt, because I refuse to believe that in 2017, Capcom still hasn't learned anything about not rushing their FG releases since SFxT.

This is the title could easily put Capcom back on the map in so many different ways. No way they botch this.

No way.

At least it seems like the single player will be there from launch.

Yes, Hawkeye has his design based on the Matt Fraction/David Aja version! I hope Kate Bishop will be a Injustice 2-style premium skin.

Ultron is cool, but I wish he had his VA from Earth's Mightiest Heroes instead.

Trailer was kinda boring. The trailers for Infinite are definitely not as well animated, stylish and entertaining as the ones for MvC3.

Why does Hawkeye look like Johnny Cage?

He is Johnny Cage, basically. Though that art of him is not the best.

CAPCOM's pocket ain't exactly full these days.

I always assumed this game is being funded by marvel specially with them taking the video games market seriously now, and since DC got NRS. Who is better than capcom for them to get into the fighting games scene.

A $200 Collectors Edition with fucking toys. No Capcom, for that much you could sold us an arcade stick. Ridiculous.

This is what we thought about Street Fighter V too.

I need Mugihito voicing Sigma though. He's too damn good. It's gonna sound weird having Ultron's English voice playing alongside Sigma's Japanese voice.

I am having a hearty chuckle over people saying "5 months for them to fix the art and graphics!"

Guys, the art and graphics are set in stone. That's not changing, it is way too close to release. This shitty look is what you are going to get!

Sucks they ditched the comic book aesthetic that was in mvc3 granted I do wonder how much marvel is actually dictating things.. it's easy for us to shit on Capcom at times.

Not really, Marvel fanboy market is way more lucrative than the want-an-arcade-stick market.

This entire game is far more oriented towards casuals than any other Capcom fighting game has been thus far.

I mean I don't disagree with what you're saying here, but this game looks worse than the MVC game released 6 years ago.

I'm not saying it should look like this.
Just saying that I personally don't mind it looking like this.
I too prefer good looking games to bad looking games.
But as long as it plays like a MvC game should then I sure as hell will buy it at a high price.

They really needed an exciting reveal and throwing out a season pass with Sigma who should just be in the main game isn't a good look.

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
I'm in for the deluxe edition.

Not paying 200 for the collectors edition.

It being graphically less impressive than SFV isn't my issue. The problem is how bland the art style is. SFV is a more vibrant game so far and that shouldn't be the case for fucking MARVEL.
