The cops will understand. The driver will be put on paid leave as punishment.
That's hard to watch, but at least does it disprove the "was scared" narrative.

There's plenty of videos showing the driver coming from like two blocks away and with plenty of time to stop, and back up. There is no god damn way any sensible person can see this and say "yep, scared' but then again look at all the cop cases that got over turned

This seriously fucked up. I don't know how anyone could have watched those videos and started any wait for info posts. Just watched a few. Even the way the car reversed all the way back and sped off. Not a person in shock at all. 1 person already dead and likely more to follow, as collision impacts like this often leave people in critical condition.

The car registration seems to check out as a Dodge (so not false plates), but I'd be wary of spreading the info in that second image with a name and address. We don't know if the car is stolen as of yet. Reddit playing internet detectives doesn't always work out well.
The police need to work as quickly as they can to get a name of a suspect out given how easy it is to check up plates and go searching. The snapchat picture doesn't look like it's a young man/son, but an older man.

Hmm, so I guess stolen,or actually a panic thing. Maybe the plates should be blurred then. Wonder if it was the kid driving and went to brake, but accelerated by accident, then just realized what he did and the flight instinct took over.

Second video shows quite a bit of empty road in front of him before the crowd.
I have no idea if the connection between the plates, owner and kid because I haven't seen anything like that. However, my biggest fear given it were to go that direction, is the person thought they were driving into the white nationalists. I'm still going with the current story as of now and this is such a horrifying and upsetting situation regardless.
