Okay yeah something about this is throwing me off. Like visually, I swear they are using a lot of default UE4 stuff in terms of lighting and for some reason that is bugging me?

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
The port is very good and the modding community is large ATM. Player base is decent.

Capcom ports are usually flawless. The PC version of UMvC3 runs better than any other version (XB1 might be on par) Not only that not everyone is a port with Capcom games, sometimes it's just the PC version.

Warner Brothers games on PC are just awful.

Wow didn't expect those answers. Thanks.

I guess PC version it is!

Ryce can we still do this in the new Marvel vs Capcom game:

I haven't played the game or even looked at actual match footage or even the control scheme...

And I will tell you that's not happening in Marvel Infinite.

How do you guys feel about no assists now that it's looking like the space gem can manipulate your opponent's position on screen?

Can't remember if they mentioned it explicitly or not, but if gems are intended to fill the void from losing assists, and you still get a choice of "assists" that can do different things including manipulate the neutral the way an assist does, is it as big of a loss?

Of course this is an assumption based off of screens, but it looks like Thor is being pulled towards Chun-Li.

Hoping it's good. MVC3 had great visuals and stellar voice acting. It was pretty on point in my opinion in terms of presentation.

I want this new one to live up to the legacy and be something people play for a while like MVC3 and MVC2, but... they're making it kind of difficult to believe...

200 dollars for the collector's edition... ouch. I'll think about buying it, depends on the other characters

They are probably gonna skimp on the artwork like SFV. As we can all see the budget of this game is lower than MVC3.
That's bad. Was hoping for them.

Well, uh... That was really underwhelming.

Especially the fucking deluxe edition character announcement.

Like I get people like Sigma, it's cool he's in.
But that is not the character you use to sell a season pass. Would be like the SFV season pass using the Russian ice girl as the selling point while hiding the others.

It's not too surprising, but the character pass comes with an alternate costume for the 6 included characters.
Contains 6 additional characters: Sigma and 5 to-be-announced characters. These 6 additional characters will all be available following Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's release. The Character Pass also includes a Premium Costume for each character!

People are saying this info dump confirms a recent rumor. What was in that rumor?

I'm a bit mixed on what I'm seeing here. Not a fan of the artstyle. I'm loving all the love the X series is getting here though. Kind of lame that Sigma is DLC though. Both him and Ultron should be in the main cast.

For like a second I though this was a screenshot from this new game. That's probably a bad omen..........

I'm excited just for the fact that is a marvel vs capcom game, and i will always love the series. But so far the artstyle, the colors, and overall the art direction are something i'm not diggin.

For example, TvC and UMVC3 where even more hype because of all the artistic directions. The first looks like an anime, and the second like a comic.

Let's just assume that you are right and that the space gem can manipulate opponent's position on screen...

So what? Marvel 3 already has that in the form of Magneto and Storm. Those moves aren't that broken because they aren't 0 frames like Assists... you can still doing the animation of the attacks. What made assists powerful was that you can act while also calling out an action, meaning you can advance/retreat under cover of an assist. You can't do that with the gems, they are at best an extension of special moves to your characters.

I doubt that the Stones would be so powerful that they can act as assists in terms of power level.

Man I want to play this game, but why is this so ugly it hurts. It's weird that I can stomach KOF XIV just fine, but not this so far :/ Cutscene has weird direction, animations and models are ugly, ugh

I'm not even sure I want the game, but I think I want the collector's edition just for the statues and the infinity gems. I'll probably preorder it to secure one, then decide if I want it once I see some unboxing videos close to launch.

The story concept seems pretty similar to Mortal Kombat VS DC which had Dark Khan (a fusion between Shao Kahn and Darkseid) as the antagonist.

And X-men. Clearly they should've made a console port of that instead. :p

They'd probably trick some people into buying it but uugggggh

This sort of stories are a staple of crossover story telling.

at least this time it's a mutual agreement instead of Dark Khans "freak teleport accident" backstory.

Top tier key art for that game overall. Love it. The in game direction was also pleasing. Maybe not original but definitely pleasing. Can't say the same for Infinite.
