WWE Money in the Bank '17 |OT| It's A New Day!(One) Yes It Is!(H)

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
Why is Booker on Talking Smack while he's the guy in Raw

kids

winning money in the bank isn't good

can you name the last money in the bank winner that actually got over thanks to money in the bank

you lose every match when you have the briefcase

you cash in like a shithead heel to steal the championship

then you lose every match as champion in nontitle matches

so fuck corbin

Seth's best times was as Mr. Money in the Bank and then winning the title.

Match was amazing but that finish was fucking ass. I like the idea of Corbin winning but it should have been better than that. I mean everybody was dead for 10 minutes, I would have liked to see AJ/Nak get pushed off then the other 4 fight over it with Corbin going over.

Really though, Nakamura was pushed perfectly in this match while he was in it.

Came in, fucking destroyed everyone, then had a short teaser with AJ to build up their inevitable one-on-one match.

Booker T talking about possessions being 9/10 of the law.

I guess he would know since he spent time in jail according to HHH.

Finish was fine. They want Corbin to be an opportunistic shit heel, and that's what that finish does. He took advantage of two babyfaces fighting each other and snuck away with a win.

Didn't get to watch the rest of show, just the main event, but I'm pretty sure this was by far the best part of the night.

i think Nakamura works being held for this match. He's not a ladders guy, it's a tough match for his style to work in without him looking weak or having to sell the whole time. It's the same reason that Dolph doesn't work as well in a match like this without looking weak... Difference is, Dolph can be booked weak but Nakamura can't be.

Sami Zayn came out looking good. Had the best spot in the match IMO with the powerbomb. His selling style is just kinda rough in WWE though. Works better off camera.

But they're bringing Cena back on SD to boost ratings. He makes a natural foil for Jinder, and a way to make Corbin more legit.

Cena is coming back as a free agent, so he can work Raw or SD. And the rumor is they are doing that because he'll be busy in the fall outside of WWE, and they want to be able to get him Monday and Tuesday depending on when he's available. If he wins the title at SS and gets cashed in on by Corbin, he has to stay on SD and feud with Corbin. AJ makes more sense in that spot because he'll be around and on SD all year.

That was a fun match. AJ/Nak don't need the win or a belt, but they better be building toward a match at WM.

I don't dislike Corbin as much as some of y'all seem to, (he's better than both Jinder and especially Orton) but I would've liked to have seen Sami win.

It wasn't fine because there's no explanation for Corbin being up and the other 3 being dead. Also the opportnist heel briefcase owner is tired as fuck and there's no reason Corbin couldn't have gone over the other guys. If Corbin's an opportunist than fine, he should have won due to smarts rather than due to magic recovery.

Check out @StephMcMahon's Tweet: https://twitter.com/StephMcMahon/status/876601810600984577?s=09

The replies. Wow, people are so pissed. Can't blame them. It threw shade on the whole ppv.

Wrong place and time for that tweet. I think any ending would've been acceptable, but having a man get the briefcase in a historic women's match is tone deaf as hell. Then again, we know Vince doesn't give a fuck.

I'm going back to watching Lucha Underground.

Forgive my ignorance here, as wwe lost me many moons ago... but thats the jinder mahal with the fuckin belt? The same guy that used to put his turban in a little perspex box before a match?

So many good choices to have win and they picked Corbin. At least it wasn't Ziggler I guess.

Why do AJ or Nakamura need the briefcase? They are big enough stars already that they don't need the boost. Sami is a babyface so he'd have to announce his cash-in ahead of time like a goof. Owens is already US champ.

Corbin is the best choice there.

Booker really feels genuine in how much he wants Naomi to succeed. Does my heart good to see an older brother supporting a black woman like that.
