WWE Money in the Bank '17 |OT| It's A New Day!(One) Yes It Is!(H)

It wasn't fine because there's no explanation for Corbin being up and the other 3 being dead. Also the opportnist heel briefcase owner is tired as fuck and there's no reason Corbin couldn't have gone over the other guys. If Corbin's an opportunist than fine, he should have won due to smarts rather than due to magic recovery.

There totally is an explanation. He was the first to get beat up by Nakamura, so it makes sense he'd be the first to get up from said beating.

And I have to say how amazing Sami looked tonight

Not selling a injury most of time or looking weak like he did in some matches in the last months. He finally looked like a main eventer since his feud with Owens

Forgive my ignorance here, as wwe lost me many moons ago... but thats the jinder mahal with the fuckin belt? The same guy that used to put his turban in a little perspex box before a match?
I mean, yeah, it's the same guy technically...

but it's a different body.

Yes, they literally flipped him from jobber to #1 contender in one week

We should restart that feud. Fight Forever!

Real talk, mega props to KO for those bumps, dude ate some serious shit tonight.

But people will only talk about Nakamura and Styles all week.
Zayn did all the work in that match and Owens took all the sick bumps.

But yeah that was one of the best mitb in history i think. The winner doesn't matter, it's always like that. MitB is always about the guy who wasn't deserving it. That's the point.

It was really well booked.

tfw i thought summerslam would definitely be bayley vs sasha and charlotte vs becky because they're the best possible feuds on both rosters but neither are happening and bayley got buried, sasha's dancing, charlotte hasn't turned yet and becky keeps taking the l

Sasha's dancing? Did you watch Monday? She's probably gonna be #1 contender.

Okay, I don't hate that. I still don't like guys magically going out of the match for 10 minutes due to whatever but that's a fair point. Just, one of the things that I really liked about Okada vs Omega was how they addressed finisher spam, moves being move devastating that other moves and it all made sense within the context. You shouldn't just have dudes being dead to knees in a ladder match.

The brand split was a mistake.

It always comes back to both shows being bad. You can delay it, sure, and you can even temporarily make one successful in terms of talent being treated right and booking at least appearing to make sense, but in the end it'll always come right back to square one.

If we're comparing everything to Omega and Okada, we'll never have a good match ever again.

i'm not going to pretend I am going to cancel the network tonight because I do want to watch the Mae Young Classic. I am giving up on Smackdown and Raw. No more live events or merch for me either.

It wasn't though. Smackdown after the brand split showed how a limited roster could flourish thanks to good booking. AJ became a legend after being nothing. They made their women's division one of the most exciting things on the show despite RAW getting the big names.

Good booking and good matches could get any show over. The split's a good idea because it shifts the focus from one small set of guys being stars.

It's gonna go to Nia for Summerslam.

Or worse, Sasha does feud with Alexa and gets the Bayley treatment.

Probably. By as of right now today, Sasha is being presented just fine. WWE fucks enough things up in the present tense to talk about that we don't need to bash them for things they haven't fucked up yet.

I can see Jinder vs Cena now. Probably 90% promos of Cena saying Jinder is on roids.

'Jinder, you love your juice and I ain't talking about the fruit kind.'

This is the best promo Jinder's ever cut. Man, he's not forcing anything he's just speaking form his heart. Yeah, keep this shit up. Keep THIS Jinder on.
