16 hours is toooooo much. A scene or two like The Witcher 2 will be fine
I feel like these 'mature themes aren't mature' posts are an indication of immaturity masked as maturity. Which is pretty meta, really. If I want to see sex I'll just watch porn. Stuff like this, even in TV and movies, just screams "look how mature we are!" "Adult themes!" "Not for kids!" "This game is for adults and adults like sex so we put sex in our game!"
iunderstoodthatreference.gifI hope there is no facesitting otherwise the UK can kiss a release goodbye.
Wow, a game had more sex than me.
All the endings are just going to be Geralt ploughing different colored women as an explosion is going off in the background.

There is a legitimate place in videogames for sex and sexuality.

I don't want to say it makes them immature, but it's definitely reactionary to consider it immature pandering without having seen it.I feel like these 'mature themes aren't mature' posts are an indication of immaturity masked as maturity. Which is pretty meta, really.

Are you saying the only purpose of sex in a story is to "wow" the audience? Does it deserve less representation just because it's become more ubiquitous? You're right, there can be a legitimate place if it's done tastefully. But for the most part, his point stands. It's 2015 where we have porn at the tip of our fingers whenever we want it. It's place in movies (where it's almost never seen anymore anyway) and games is very dated. It doesn't have the "wow" factor it had 20-30 years ago.
So... is really the Witcher series so heavy in drama and relationships that sex scenes don't seem out of place? It has never given me that impression.
Personally, I think its really unnecessary. It does not make it feel more mature to me. Exact opposite, really. Makes it seem pandering and gratuitous.

Straight sex
Men dont turn gay automatically. This isn't Dragon Age.
There's a few, all tastefully done in my opinion. So I just started The Witcher 2 for the first time. Does it have much sexy sexy times?aside from the prologue ass/bush ive already witnessed
I hope it's real sex and not performance sex; basically I want Geralt to hunch over like he were having a cramp, and then go "I'm sorry, this usually doesn't happen"

They almost had Vine-length poorly mocapped soft porn quality sex? Sweet!Yes, gaming should be more unabashedly filthy!
Even Bioware has learned and has almost Witcher quality sex in DAI
Europe don't care about your hangups about sex.
Now, please bring back the soft core trading cards.
Legit disappoint.

Glad to hear. The story seems like its going to be awesome.Agreed. The Witcher 2 was, like, the first game I played where the sex wasn't awkward.
