The 2 most important matches were great, Punk vs Lesnar stole the show, but i really did enjoy Cena vs Bryan, Cena was obviously hurting so he did the best he could given his circumstances

I hope this is a return of the Evolution, Hunter as Ric Flairs role, Orton as Hunters role...and Cody Rhodes as Cody Rhodes i guess.

I liked the finish

Number 2 promotion in the US come on man. He travels the world as a pro wrestler. He will go down in history as one of the best. We will all die and be forgotten he will be remembered long after. Show some respect.

Yeah, I think this past year of DUIs solidifies that. Sounded really hopeful of making a return on Steve Austin's podcast, but man did this guy screw himself. Oh well...

It's not even only that, it's that the guy is a walking time bomb, which is why he was let go in the first place. Vince learned his lesson with Benoit.

I'll be in my bunk.

That's AJ Prime, followed by the recent Pigtails AJ in a close second.

?

Angle left the WWE a year before the Benoit double murder suicide.

What I mean is that Benoit is why Angle will never be back, not why he left.

And the entire company has changed because of Benoit. Angle wouldn't come back because he'd never pass wellness as he is right now and they know it.

This. Angle is a disaster waiting to happen and he isn't worth the bad publicity.

It's not even just the wellness stuff.

It's the no chairshots to the head. Banning of just about any move that puts impact on the head/neck. Notice how very few people do german suplexes, powerbombs, or things like that anymore?

No one is above criticism. I mentioned his idiotic choices but you're a mark now if you say show some respect.
If he was in the WWE would you be shitting in him? Naaaaah, perhaps it is you actin a mark home boy.

Why should I respect Kurt Angle? Because he's won some matches?

Or because he's been caught driving drunk/under the influence FOUR times, and that's ignoring how many times he did it and DIDN'T get caught.

I guess I should show Chris Benoit some respect because he was a great wrestler and completely ignore the fact that he killed his wife and innocent child.

Gotcha. Respect.

Yeah it really fucked the game up I miss what wrestling used to be like now its shitty punch kick crappy slam.
A guy like Taz in his prime could never exsist in the WWE....

Haha.

You do sound like a mark though. Angle was one of the best for a spell, now he's an asshole has-been with a bad Twitter.

I still respect Beniot as one of the best ever. Although much like CM punkjacking KENTA. Beniot litterally is the Dynamite Kid. Too bad wwe never let him do his top rope powerbomb and top rope tombstone. It was a fucked up end but their ringwork is what I respect not their personal lives. It doesn't erase all the entertainment provided because they were fuck ups.

Not that blows to the head are a good thing in general, but the biggest problem is more volume. Every wrestler has their own style. Google "steve austin punisher youtube" and watch an old USWA match from 1989. You can tell that under the mask, the Punisher is Mark Calaway, who we all know and love as The Undertaker. You can tell that the blonde guy named Steve Williams is Stone Cold Steve Austin.

If a guy's incorporating flying headbutts and german suplexes into his matches, and he's wrestling 4 or 5 days a week year round, that's a lot of head trauma over the course of a career. Foley did some insane shit during his career and had a lot of blows to the head but I bet a guy like Shelton Benjamin will have more issues post retirement because of all the suplexes and head trauma he has on a regular basis.

Hell, think of guys who were well known for suplex type moves that impacted the neck and head. Benoit, Guerrero, Hart, Hennig, Taz, to name a few. All end up banged up. And Edge constantly had upper torso/neck/shoulder impacts.

Look at the high flyers and the guys running around the ring until they're 60 or 70 and it's the knees that get injured.

It's the volume that causes the problems.

Good points if WWE cared they would rotate the cards better in terms of roster better than dumbing down the product with shit mini matches.

This is why they fear a wrestlers union. They just run these guy til the wheels and bearings shatter. Thats the issue.

As much as I understood why they had Orton cash in and how it makes a lot of sense, etc, I still hated it lol. I wish they let Bryan ride that emotional high. But it's clear that at some point Bryan is getting the title back. Whether it's at Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, or WrestleMania, it's happening. Hell, look at the end of the write-up to the match on the website:

Moments after Bryan had repelled The Viper, The Game shocked the WWE Universe and their new champion by cutting down Bryan with a Pedigree. With a smile, The Game beckoned Orton to the ring and happily accepted his Money in the Bank contract, counting the pinfall and handing Orton his first WWE Title in three years without a single drop of sweat spilled.

And so ended Daniel Bryan’s reign as WWE Champion, with the people’s chosen hero splayed across the mat and a pair of men entrusted to do the right thing celebrating over his body. What this means for the future of Orton, Triple H and the WWE Title is anyone’s guess, but this much is clear: Having come this close to reaching the peak, Daniel Bryan will find his retribution in the long run. As this match showed, he doesn't take defeat lying down. Though, at The Biggest Party of the Summer, it seemed he was left with no other choice than to take “No” for an answer.

If WWE booked more than minute to minute, I'd agree with you.

I think at this point there's pretty clear conviction behind Bryan. He's been in important storylines for over a year now and specifically they've been pushing him to the moon for the past 2 months.

Nope, by Survivor Series, Bryan's going to be jobbing to Mason Ryan because Vince hates him. Hates him, my precious.

You respect him so much you can't even spell his name right.

LOL! A fuck up. Almost nothing you said is right, it's amazing.

I don't know what's worse, Punk's Elbow Drop or Punk's GTS

I love the guy, but good lord his elbow drop last night was like he just kinda fell off the rope sideways, it was so ineffective lookin
