We put in a pretty much exemplary display of keeping him and Naismith quiet without sacrificing players to man-mark them all the time. And we still didn't win. Fuck football.
You're never gonna keep him from getting a chance or two, but we restricted him to a couple of pressured shots from 25 yards, and a missed header. Think the main thing with him is having your defenders stand up to him, eyes on the ball. The second they go in for a lunge, or try and outmuscle him, he's gone and the ball is probably with him. Often with your defender lying on the floor having being thrown down like a bitch.

Why is Adnan dead? No starts in 7 matches and has had to play as a cm, rwb, rw, lw, cam, and striker. In the matches he does come on, he makes the wrong decision because he feels he needs to make a huge statement to get into the team.
