Damn, all the hype in this thread lol. I want to believe so badly too, but it feels a bit too "early" for a Marvel 4 announcement for me. Oh well, not gonna get super hyped yet (even if I REALLY want to), but if it does happen...

This is not false

Though with batman and robin he deformed it it a bit , especially robin, homie looked like Arlene Klasky drew him, dude looked like he was the secret 3rd Deville twin that got separated from lil and phil.

I love Quietly use to draw Kyle Rayner with a jeri curl.

after the success of smash 4, I think we'll get classic megaman in this game

again, if capcom was smart, they'd work out some crazy ass DLC schedule for this game that goes on forever. that means megaman, x, zero, mutha fuckin volnutt, the ugly megaman from the megaman 1 box, every megaman you can imagine

I believe it, I just hope it's not exclusive. I have too many friends on XB1 that play MvC but don't have any interest in owning a PS4 and I'd want to play them. :(

This guy has the right idea.

Listen. You can keep your Megamans and your Xs and your Zeros.

It's time for this motherfucker to get his chance

PS4/One/PC UMvC3 port with all the DLC (except Magneto :lol) and The Patch™.

I mean they did it for SF4 (completely owned under Capcom) but I wouldn't see too much reason to do so. The characters on Marvel's end for the most part got changed up a bit or maybe I'm just blowing fumes. Either way, I'm ready for either extreme joy or profound sadness.

Same reason MvC2 and MvC Origins were a thing, I guess.

I'm definitely interested to see the Mega Man cast this time since... well, almost nothing at all has happened with that series in the nearly 6 years since Vanilla MvC3 launched. I think Zero's too popular not to come back but Tron Bonne and Legends obviously aren't super relevant. I still think it makes sense to keep her though; Servbots are basically mascot-status for Capcom at this point and that's the easiest and most prominent way to feature them, and she's one of only 8 Capcom characters to have been in both MvC2 and 3.

My guess is we're going to end up with classic Mega Man this time around, probably implemented similarly to his appearance in Smash (not necessarily moveset wise, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go silent and use animations mostly inspired from the NES games). I always liked the idea of Mega Man, Zero and Tron Bonne since they're all from different Mega Man subseries, but at the same time there are a lot of classic characters that people sometimes bring up (Proto Man, Bass, and of course Roll has a special place in the series) that I'd love to see as well. I guess they can't really go wrong as long as they don't neglect to add a Mega Man at all for the 3rd time in a row...

But Capcom would be the ones to suffer for it, unfortunately. A backlash against the game wouldn't hurt Marvel much, but Capcom couldn't even get SFV off the ground without Sony's help.
SFV's release was only sped up thanks to Sony. It would have happened in 2018 or so without Sony's help.

As for the backlash over no Fox characters, yes, Capcom likely would take the blunt of it (regardless of it being Marvel's fault). And after SFV's launch, Capcom would be an easy scapegoat for the whole thing.

Honestly, why not put in X? I recall him being the winner of that one Capcom Unity poll, and I remember Niitsuma saying he thought he'd be cool to have in MVC at some point.

Classic MM would be good too, but he's had his time in the spotlight, and so has Volnutt for that matter. Bring in X, put some muscle into it.

Please make the game playable for non robots. The last game was too difficult to get in to.

It most certainty wasn't. They had an entire "simple" control scheme that made combos LMHS (basically auto-combos) and the execution in general was way easier than MvC2 (which to be fair is the hardest most technical fighting game ever so that's not surprising).

In general if you don't execution in fighting games this isn't your game. There's no way to simply further than how MvC3 did it with simple controls, honestly. When you have a game with this many movement options and magic series -> launch, OTG combos, you're going to have to do some lab time.

MvC3 had characters that were SUPER easy too. I'm not sure if combos got any easier than what Wesker was doing.

Was reading this thread on mobile at friend's house & laughing my ass off like a madman. I'm ready for whatever comes to fruition in the very near future. This place will either pop off or implode.

Capcom better not choose Rock over X.

X was the number 1/2 most requested in Ultimate and still hasn't been in a cross over for fuck sake.

Still I hope the game happens, wanna see what Marvel would allow.
