WWE Money in the Bank '17 |OT| It's A New Day!(One) Yes It Is!(H)

From a story perspective, I get it.

From a "this was an historic match for the women's division" perspective, fucking hell. Mella could have just climbed and got it herself after James took out Becky.

That they ran a women's revolution promo video and then did that is a fucking joke

This may be it. I may be done with WWE for a while. It hasn't been that great lately anyway, and fucking up the first Women's Money in the Bank that way pisses me off, and not in a way that makes me want to watch. I am not interested in seeing Carmella lose, I am interested in seeing the company suffer for this bullshit.

I think the point is they want you to hate Carmella because she doesn't deserve it, but that could have been accomplished if Carmella just grabbed it herself after Ellsworth took out Becky.

It's just a bad ending, but I knew it was coming because they can't help themselves when someone has a jobber lackey like Ellsworth.

At least they didn't make Ellesworth the MITB holder, which they would've done in the past.

I feel like if you're legit passionate about being a pro wrassler, you really should have no interest in being in this company. They have zero respect for the craft and talent.

Told you guys WWE are in the business of trying to make people angry because they think it's good for business when in reality it's turning viewers away.

I can only assume (hope) this is going to lead to a match between Becky and Ellsworth eventually with Becky kicking Ellsworth's ass.

I'm still half and half with that ending, it's perfect for the Carmellsworth duo and finally gives us the result of what happens when someone outside the match takes the case down.
But not on the very first women's MitB match, especially after all that monumental match stuff.

They want you to be mad at Carmella for violaring the spirit of the whole thing by relying on a guy to do it.

The problem is that people will be mad at WWE instead.

Yup they don't understand the modern mentality.

All of you that are upset over the ending and shitting on wwe for not being "progressive" for the ending of this monumental match....are you forgetting the first ever women's HIAC match from last year? That's progressive as hell. I think you're all just a bunch of salty marks upset because you got worked. That ending was great.

I get why might see that as a smart finish (I even called it myself) but fuck them. Seriously, don't advertise something as something huge and progressive then have a man being the first one to pull down the women's case. How many male MitB matches have there been and how many times has a female valet took the case down for their partner? Yet they opt to pull this shit in the first women's match ever. They're utter cunts.

Yeah, WWE has a hard-on now for meta "internet will hate this" heat. Jinder, Eva Marie, Roman, this, etc.. They confuse people hating their heels with people hating their product.

To be fair, though, a woman (Becky) would have gotten the briefcase if not for a man (Ellsworth)

It's almost a META COMMENTARY on the WWE as a whole. So perhaps it is actually IS a brilliant ending.

Lana wins, Carmella cashes in, wins the title, says to Shane on Tuesday when he inevitably says she didn't win it fairly that there's nothing he can do about it since she already cashed in. Shane says Carmella must defend her title at Battleground in a eight way elimination match.

BECAUSE WE NEED MORE MULTIWOMAN MATCHES EVERY PPV!

"We are so street and hard ass, we assure you that it was not us with the face paint screaming out Uce....we are legit!"

LOL
The mean mugging gets me every time

So I'm torn on it, but leaning toward "That was bad."

That's still a stupid finish. Becky should have took games and herself in a big ladder spot then Carmella should have climbed the ladder and took the belt. If you have a moment showing a woman being a badass taking out an interfering man then the finish isn't a thousandth as bad.

I got grudge sucked!
So what are the odds of the Orton/Jinder match? I'm sort of expecting Jinder to retain and then get fed to Cena since ratings are low.

One match being good for the women doesn't mean WWE have an excuse to then fuck around with another match because hey, we did it once before, why treat the women with respect a second time around
