I think those definitely look better than the OP screens. I'm not saying they are gonna in awards or anything for graphics, but those beta screens are a clear step above the screens in the OP.

We can't have someone constantly putting out false information like this, regardless of their former record. Cboat has always been hit or miss with his information. The "Epic Ass Storm" that was never revealed must have been fake, as well as this Titanfall info he gave.

If the guy who said there would be Star Tropics Wii U announced got banned, so should cboat.

I don't know about needing to be banned, but the current insider situation is shaky at best. If we legitimately have insiders spreading bullshit to save their own arses, it might be better just to silence them entirely before you end up turning GAF into a hen house again.

Although these are all legitimate complaints, he was claiming insider knowledge that was different from what the company was saying.

It has nothing to do with him "not drinking the kool aid"

Why can't they put the HUD on top of the up-scaled game instead of rendering the HUD at low-res and upscaling it too?

Also this is pretty embarrassing for the flagship Xbone game of it's life thus-far.

As for CBOAT - its really a difficult thing being in his position when ANY variable in game development can change for better or worse. But he did stick his neck out, tho. Still, I'd rather have his leaks with "very good" accuracy than see him banned.

He was factually incorrect at times regarding PS4/XB1 comparisons with the numbers he gave, whether or not he was lying or just uninformed is up to each individual to guess for themselves.

I firmly align myself in the group of people that think it's ugly because the art is ugly and uninspired. Others seem to find it ugly because they live and die by the number of rows of pixels in the internal resolution though. I don't see much overlap in these threads.

I played the beta on PC extensively and although I wouldn't call it ugly and would use "mediocre" instead I can see were people are coming from.

Crysis was 7 years ago, and it destroys Titanfall graphically. As do countless other games. It does not look "Pretty Good".

I meant compared to this. The cross gen comment that I quoted doesn't work as an excuse when the PC version looks much better. I didn't think it played that great either. The parkour stuff was good, but the AI characters and titans aren't enjoyable to me.

There are many games that are next-gen looking improvements over last gen on the Xbox One. Also, games on a console look better over time. The Xbox 360 had games that looked like original Xbox early in its life too. On top of all of that, there are many changes in the Xbox One vs. the 360 to the point in which I find the 360 slow and/or a chore to use now. Have barely played on it these past few months.

There must be accountability no matter how difficult such a thing is.

OT: If the game was downgraded I hope it was to make the FPS more stable around 60.

A persons account is tainted if they get two posts of info wrong? Ok then. The situation is that he was wrong, for whatever reason, and posters want him gone. If you are in that camp, then that's great, but it is still a weird ass mentality to have, that speaks of motives beyond having only insiders that are 100% correct. Because guess what? We don't have any. Not one. People get things wrong.

Every person on this board that leaks info has said things that have turned out to be wrong at some point. The reaction here is different.

He also has largely taken off since launch after spinning his shit apart from popping up here and there in certain threads (like when the headset adapter was released).

Yeah, don't get me wrong, the game isn't great looking at all. I feel that way mainly due to the game's drab/dull colors though.

Just find it funny that there's so many saying the game doesn't look good as if there hasn't been a ton of pictures of the game already.

Too bad they weren't able to get it above 792p, game is a lot of fun though, based on my experience with the PC beta. Damn shame about CBOAT, but we knew this was coming.
