The framerate isn't smooth on the One port either.

Interesting. You'd think they'd prioritize, again, framerate above all since you know, framerate is king and all.

Speaking of being suspicious, this poster joined early November and started posting on the eve of the Xbox One launch and compared Forza to the Mona Lisa in one post.

What if someone joined GAF in November because they were excited about the launch of the PS4 and as a result were posting positively about Killzone and Knack pre-release, and now Infamous: Second Son..

Well 720p vs 792p seems like a technicality. It's not like 720p vs 1080p

And isn't texture judgement subjective? Or did Respawn come out and say, "Oh yeah, for the final product we clicked the "add more texture box"?

I'm not baiting. I'm just trying to understand.

Add to that, He still doubled down on 720p and alpha textures even after beta analysis proved him wrong.

I've never tried to hide the fact I work for Microsoft, the big T10 in my username kind of gives that away. Just like to see some objectivity applied.

Anyway, I'm just excited for this month as there's some great games coming out. As someone who's lucky enough to own a good gaming PC along with both an Xbox One and PS4, I'm feeling spoiled for choice!

I'm sure they would as well, which means the framerate drops probably aren't directly related to the resolution. There are many things that can make performance take a hit. I noticed the framerte struggle only in specific scenarios, like when getting in a Titan or when there were a lot of Titan specific alpha effects occuring. Optomising these specific perfomance bottlenecks, would help a lot more than just reducing resolution. Infact if they sorted out those bottlenecks, they probably would have been able to up it, which going by there tweets was what they were attempting to do.

There's nothing wrong with someone enjoying a system they purchased. It becomes questionable when they say things like they are "having a blast just setting up the system" and they love the ui, especially the voice controls, and then a day later thanking someone else for posting impressions of a system. Also a person that says they are only getting Forza and Battlefield and maybe Dead Rising 3 if they can afford it, yet talking about how great Ryse is in multiple posts less than a week later.

It's been so long since I've played a shooter where you can tell there's a dude in front of you from a long distance that I would welcome a game with simpler, clean graphics with amazing IQ.
